Birds Bay - Villa, Venice, Florida

This is the second time to stay at this property. My wife has always wanted to stay at Bird Bay so we gave it a try last year and enjoyed it so much we opted to go back again this year. This year my wife enjoyed going to the pool in the morning for water aerobics. We also did some pickle ball. Great location. We hope to do it again next year.

The listing stated there was an elevator for the second floor but there is none which was a problem as one of us have bad knees and it was different to go up and down the stairs. Otherwise everything was good.

We really enjoyed our stay! Two bedroom, two bath layout was very comfortable and well-stocked. Bird Bay Village is a great community with mature landscaping and great amenities. We loved walking there and meeting residents who are very friendly. Great community pool and so many activities! So close to Venice downtown and the fantastic beach!

I really loved the open, bright living area. The view of the eighth hole on the golf course is an added bonus. It is conveniently located within easy walking distance to the large pool, tennis courts, exercise room and club house. The surrounding neighborhood is lovely for walking or riding your bike. Bird Bay village is is a very active community and is just a short drive to the island, old downtown Venice with all its shops and places to eat and to the various beaches in the area.

This upper villa has all the comforts of home. It is well equipped for cooking and playing. Located in Bird Bay, it is just a short walk to downtown Venice and the Legacy Trail. The extra large shady lanai is surrounded by interesting trees all of which flower. We spent many enjoyable hours out there. The owners were tentative to our needs and their condo. It was a pleasure dealing with them. The kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry were stocked with all the necessities so we didn't have to run out on day one and buy the basics. Very thoughtful! This was our second time renting this villa. We love the location. The owners have made some upgrades since the year previous. Very clean and comes equipped with everything! It's nice to actually deal with the owners that take pride and are available for any questions! Many thanks, looking forward to next year!

Venice has a lot to offer , and this location in Bird Bay was perfect for us. This condo has a lot of natural light all day long .We loved sitting on balcony to watch the sun sets or the golfers playing. Everything we needed was there waiting for us to enjoy , bikes, beach umbrella, cooler,books magazines,computer , free calls anywhere in North America. The beach is a nice 20 minutes bike ride, and charming downtown Venice even closer. The unit will eventually need a bit of upgrading , but it is very clean and confortable and we recommand it to every one who wants a relaxing vacation.
