Stayed Nov 3, 2024We stayed for 3 weeks in this property. While the convenience of having a vehicle would be nice, we did not find it necessary and actually enjoyed our walks down the hill into town. That being said, it's not a walk I would wish to do with young children or mobility challenged due to the steep and uneven ground for a majority of it. Taxis and tuk tuks are plentiful at the bottom of the hill and it's a short 10 minute ride to the grocery store. We tried a few different beaches in the area and our favorite was Playa Miramar. The waves are big enough to have fun in but not scary. I highly recommend the Oasis Beach Club there, grab a table on the beach, have lunch and spend the day playing in the ocean. The food is amazing. Our favorite thing about the unit was by far the hammocks on the upper deck. We travel to a different area in Mexico almost every year and this was the first place that we thought we could have stayed longer. I like to cook so a kitchen is important to me. The kitchen is equipped with the very basics. There were no food storage containers, no scissors, no baking pans. We bought an inexpensive set of measuring cups that we left behind. It did have a great knife though! All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed every moment we were there. It's a wonderful place.

Stayed Jun 16, 2024I had a wonderful time at this beautiful house! The host was really gracious, friendly, and helpful, and the amenities of the accommodations are just great! The view of the coast and surrounding area is stunning from this location. The staff and host do a wonderful job of keeping everything clean and beautiful, in working order, shipshape, and they certainly made sure I had everything I needed. Thank you very much for your hospitality! If I have the pleasure of returning to Manzanillo, I will certainly book your house again.

Stayed Jan 14, 2024Super friendly accommodating hosts. the hotel is very nice and clean. we were booked to stay there but had our flights cancelled. Ayelet and Linda offered us different nights. We did go and check the place out ( glad we did ) but we ended up going back to Melaque where we had another hotel booked. Would love to stay here for a few months but you definitely need a car.

Stayed Oct 17, 2022We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay at the casita. Ayelet was an amazing host, so accommodating and very quick to reply to every request. But, hands down, the best part of the rental was Linda. She lives on the property but you would never know it until you needed something. She was so helpful with suggestions on where to visit, where to eat and helping with transportation. We will definitely be back.

Stayed Jan 1, 2019Please see my review for this same location from February, 2018. All those comments continue to apply and Linda is still the perfect hostess. We are already booked to spend four months here next winter. We now consider ourselves veterans of Manzanillo (I know, a stretch after only two years) and I think we have a pretty good feel for what is available in the City and surrounding area and, in our view, this is absolutely the best location and the best value on the market. If you are planning a visit to this delightful area of Mexico, this is the place to stay.
