Beautifully restored Tuscan villa, with private pool and breathtaking views

Thanksgiving in Tuscany! The pictures online don't do this villa justice. It is even better in person. Cally and staff were amazing. They were quick to respond to any request even far in advance of our trip and all throughout our short stay. They coordinated Chef Massi to cook our family an unforgettable Thanksgiving meal. Wish we could have stayed longer and hope to return one day.

A perfect week to celebrate 70th birthday with family

Amazing stay from start to finish! Cally provided all the important detailed information…from places to go, in-house chef and local restaurants and vineyards. It was a perfect setting for a 3 generation family celebration. We would definitely recommend and would love to come back!!

What an incredible place! Cally is an amazing host and made sure we had everything that we needed during our time in Tuscany. The property is immaculate and one of the most relaxing places we’ve ever visited. We look forward to returning in the future!

We were a group of 10 using this house as a home base for our daily travels throughout Tuscany. Cally and Alex were fabulous. They were always quick to answer any questions we had. The house was so special…simply fabulous. Every inch of the house was just perfect. I was sad we didn’t get to spend more time enjoying the house and the amazing property. We had one night with Chef Ricardo who was incredible. He had such energy and passion, and his food was delicious! I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. I highly recommend Antico Macchione for your stay in Tuscany.

The villa itself is spectacular with views to match. Cally goes above and beyond to help coordinate day trips to nearby cities, in-home chef, etc. Everything about our stay was wonderful. Highly recommend!

Podere Macchione was the perfect place for our family gathering in Tuscany. Cally was an absolutely incredible host who looked after every detail, and whose home was a little bit of heaven on earth for us to enjoy. Everything, from the “out of this world” views, to the beautiful interior design, to wine tasting with Emily, and to a classic Tuscan dinner with Massi, was perfect. We will cherish this vacation, and have, in large part, Cally to thank for it!!!

I can’t say enough about what a magical place Macchione is! It exceeded our expectations in every way. Every inch of the villa has been meticulously restored and decorated impeccably. The view is stunning and there was plenty of room for the 12 of us (6 adults and 6 kids) with room to spare. Cally was an incredible host, providing all sorts of helpful information leading up to our stay, and was always available to answer questions. We spent lots of time in the pool and playing ping pong and enjoyed day trips to Buonconvento and Siena. It was an unforgettable experience and we would love to return!

We could not have been happier with our stay. The property is stunning! What Nick and Cally have done is nothing short of spectacular in every way and you can tell it was a real labor of love to restore this property and make it into an incredible retreat. We had family and friends coming and going and Gabriella, the house keeper, made it effortless on our part. There is nothing I would change about our month at Macchione and we give a big thanks to Cally and Nick
