Beautifully Restored house of pleasure on Main St above Ponderosa Wine Bar

First off, Wonderful owners ( Craig and Patti ). Great communication on day of arrival and easy check in once at the apartment. Craig made us feel at home right away. Great layout. Amazing decor. Super clean. Top notch amenities. Can’t beat the location for Hamilton. So glad we found this place!

We had a fantastic stay.

Wonderful apartment, we’ve stayed about 8-9 times because we have family in the area. It’s nicely appointed with a comfortable living room, great kitchen and two bedrooms and baths. The owners leave breakfast food in the refrigerator plus there are lots of spices and condiments in the cabinet. The kitchen is fully stocked so it’s easy to prepare meals. The location is great, downtown, one block to Safeway, restaurants and shops.

Everything was clean, easy and very nice. Have stayed multiple times.

Great spot, much larger than I had imagined. Beds are comfortable, and the decor matches the aesthetic of the old building as a whole. Worth noting that the noise level is pretty low, except in the morning on the east side of the apartment you can hear the casino music kick on through the floor. It wasn't an issue for me, but worth noting.

Our first trip to Montana spent in the charming town of Hamilton. Location of the property could not have been better. Centrally located in Hamilton and just a few miles from a number of great hiking trails. As for the property, lovely place with tons of charm, plenty of space to stretch out, and decorated with care and history. As for the host (Craig) - top ratings. He responded to all our questions - quickly, and even met us at the door when we arrived (which was a little late). Craig also placed essentials in the refrigerator - above and beyond our expectations. Thank you. Exceptional host and property!

This place was great, will return next time in Hamilton

This is our 9-10th time staying here because we have family in the area. We love it and it’s always perfect. Craig leaves some breakfast food plus condiments and spices so it’s easy to prepare food. Everything works well and there are lots of dishes.

Overall, I had a great experience here. The space is well maintained and full of everything you need to enjoy yourself, including a bar area and complimentary snacks. Craig did an awesome job communicating everything with me ahead of time and assuaged any concerns I had. The only issue I had was the wine bar downstairs left a vulgar note on my car because they thought I parked in a wrong spot when I did not. Craig sternly corrected them, however, and assured me this would not be an issue going forward for anyone looking to rent.

There was plenty of room and an easy walk to anything we needed.

Having stayed here before we knew we wanted to come back. The perfect location for former valley residents. Walking distance to all of town and the river. Plus only rooftop deck and view in town. Unique property well equipped for a restful stay. Can’t wait to come back again…maybe in June!!!

The unit was perfect for a quick ski getaway. Plenty of room, great location and well appointed. This was our second stay and we will definitely be back.

This is our 6th or 7th time staying here and it’s perfect for us. The hosts are great, leave bouquets of flowers and extra food in the refrigerator so it’s always so welcoming. The location is great at the corner of Main Street and Hwy 93. There is a Safeway across the highway for convenient groceries and lots of shops and restaurants in the downtown area.

Just a beautiful relaxing place to stay right on Main Street above a Wine Bar ! Come on a Dream 😂 lol. Excellent host response quickly and I’ll be back hopefully if you visit Hamilton stay here walk around shop, dine and meet the locals!

It's the best 2 bedroom, 2 bath with all the amenities in Hamilton, MT.. I've lost track how many times I've stayed here. Perfect location. Thanks Craig for doing it right each and every stay.

The Scandia House is beautifully decorated in downtown Hamilton. Craig (owner)had breakfast items stocked in the refrigerator along with coffee, candies, crackers, ice-cream etc. Charming atmosphere. We loved our stay!

This is one of the best VRBO properties we’ve ever stayed. It’s in the center of town, masterfully stocked with every amenity imaginable and the host Craig is incredibly welcoming and accessible. It wildly exceeded our expectations. A real gem.
