Beautiful villa, sea view 150m Socoa beach, swimming pool, jacuzzi, billiards.

we had a great time. everything was as described and the hosts were wonderfully friendly and responsive.

My wife and I have rented many houses and villas through VRBO over the years. They have been uniformly good to excellent. But Marylene and Daniel’s villa overlooking the bay in St Jean de Luz is one of the best ever. Starting with the booking process, their communication was thorough, timely, and cordial. On our arrival, they gave us the most comprehensive tour/orientation we’ve ever had. The house itself is gorgeous, tastefully appointed, immaculately clean, and equipped with everything we could ever need for a week’s stay. It has a wonderful view of the ocean and has plenty of amenities (pool, outdoor spa, pool table, fireplace) to please pretty much anyone. Finally, the location is within easy walking distance of the beach and a wide selection of good restaurants. We can’t thank Marylene and Daniel enough for sharing their beautiful house with us. We would return again without hesitation.

We came to Ciboure for a family reunion. The location of the house is perfect! A view of the water on a quiet street. It's an easy walk to a beautiful beach and small town. We also walked to Saint Jean de Luz for a day of shopping and enjoying the restaurants and beach. There are only four bedrooms. It's true there is a sofa bed, but it is in the middle of the downstairs area and all bedrooms open up onto this area, so it is not at all a private bedroom (even though the listing says 5 bedrooms). Since each of the 4 bedrooms only has one bed, the accommodations ended up being a lot tighter than we would have liked. Still, it was worth it-- the upstairs and outdoors was great! We would highly recommend this home.

Thanks to Daniel and Marylene for an excellent stay in Ciboure. Great living spaces, pool and spa. Very easy to walk down to the beach and the town. A very relaxed holiday for us.

Wonderful house in a lovely area. All facilities in walking distance, beach 1m down the road, plenty of water sports to be had. Lovely house, with all facilities, and nice hosts.

We loved our week here! Daniel and Marylene gave us a warm welcome on arrival and explained how everything worked. The villa has everything you could need and is really beautiful and comfortable, with lots of different places to sit and enjoy the lovely view of Ciboure harbor. We were a party of 10 adults/grown up children and had plenty of space. The driveway with remote control gate was great for our 2 rental cars, although we barely used them. We also loved the hot tub and the kitchen which was very well equipped. We hardly felt the need to go anywhere, it was such a pleasant place to hang out, so as well as playing ping pong and pool at the villa, we mainly went to the local beach, which is a 2 minute walk and explored the Soccoa fort area. Also there were a lot of restaurants in the town that we enjoyed - awesome fresh seafood - and the Carrefour express down the road had all the groceries we needed, as well as the boulangeries for fresh baguettes and croissants every morning. Nearby St Jean de Luz is a bigger and more lively - also very picturesque - we walked there one day to watch the world cup in a cafe in the pedestrianized center - a lot of fun. And the kids walked there one evening and had a great time. Overall highly recommended! Hope to come back!

The house is well equipped with many places to eat inside or out. Internally it has a well equipped kitchen and it all feels pretty much like brand new. The Hot Tub under the palm tree with a view of the harbor is a wow feature. 4 Good sized Bedrooms all well decorated. We enjoyed using the poole table and Table tennis table. But would say this is aimed at adults and or with teenager plus aged children. The site is steeply sloped as it states. The only negative because all the bedrooms and bathrooms are downstairs living area upstairs you have to go down stairs every time you need to go to the toilet. We had a relaxing and enjoyable stay - hosts were friendly and helpful
