Beautiful Villa-Ocean/Sunset Views-Lots of Amenities-Great Location-Yacht Access

This house was an amazing place to call home during our stay. The beds we SO COMFORTABLE and pool is amazing! It’s only steps away from grocery and liquor stores, souvenir shops and an excellent pub called Vista Verde - the food is great, the view is incredible and the people are so friendly!! Probably our favourite part of this rental was all of the wildlife we were able to see and interact with without leaving the property. Cheeky monkey visits in the mornings, howler monkeys waking us up every day, scarlet macaws flying in the near distance, and little furry guys waddling around. The owner responds to questions immediately - thanks so much for your responsiveness! We all agreed that we wished we had at least another week on your property!! Pura vida!!

The layout of the home was great!! Very unique fitting with Costa Rican culture… we got to feed the monkeys which came to the balcony… Mandel was extremely helpful in booking tours in the area…Thank you for a great time!!

A well located , secure, clean place. I would call it the most spartiate luxury place I tried. basic but cozy and spacious with a certain vieille villa cachet. Thank you Mandel

The location of this house in Manuel Antonio is truly amazing — surrounded by nature, full of wildlife, and offering a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. The property has plenty of space, including a large kitchen, making it perfect for families or groups. The setting feels like a little slice of paradise, with the sounds of birds and the beauty of nature. That said, the house could use some extra care and attention. With a bit of maintenance and love, it could easily become absolutely stunning and perfect. The potential is definitely there, and with just a little investment in upkeep, it would be a dream place to stay.

We absolutely loved our stay. The host answered every question we had, and was very helpful. The property is really cool, my family loved it, and the location is super cool, and very close to a lot of amazing restaurants and beaches, as well as Manuel Antonio National park. We saw monkeys, gladiator frogs, toucans, and macaws, without even leaving the property. I do not recommend the property to someone with mobility issues, and I would be cautious with children. There are a lot of stairs and the pool is right outside your door. Just something to be aware of when you are making your decision!

Having 4 bedrooms and baths was mavelous! The almost daily monkeys that showed up at the house was wonderful.We also saw Macaws, Toucans, and many other birds. We also heard Howler monkeys.There are more things to do than you have time.

The property was wonderful. I had a flight delay. I ended up getting to the property at 4:45 in the morning. There was not much response. Then, the directions were sketchy. There needs to be a sign. Or, a big X painted on the gate. Bring what you need. Towels and dishes provided. A grill. Awesome view!

Loved all the animals nearby. Has a dryer that works.

We were really looking forward to staying here and we were not disappointed. There was more than enough room for our group of six.The verandas were used often to view the many birds and ground animals that came by. The pool was also a nice respite from the tropical heat.Though we were too enthralled with being so close to nature to really care, the property is a bit dated and could use a little TLC.

The house size and wildlife in backyard tree are its best features. No extras—not even salt and pepper in the kitchen. Dirty — shower drain filled with previous tenants hair. No pillows with clean cases; just shams. Safety hazards like total slippery tile floors and no handrails. Steep parking. Will end on good note of nice swimming pool.

Pros: Location is great. 1/2 a block from Vista Verde Restaurant which is great. And, Soda Angel, mercados are that close as well. Short walking distance to Oceano, Victorias, Cafe Milagro, etc. On the bus line so easy to get around, but we had a car so only took the bus once down to the beach. It was more economical to drive since there were 8 of us. Parking was fine - we had a (12) passenger van and were able to get in/out, but it would be challenging if you happen to be a bad driver. Should be no problem if you have a regular car. Pool was great and we used it every day. Kitchen had all utensils needed. Cleaning was every other day and they did a great job. The host is responsive i.e. within seconds of sending a message through the site. a small troup of white face monkeys invaded us our final day which was fun. We saw them a couple of other days earlier in the week, but the final day, they came on site and we were entertained for about 20 minutes! We also saw some macaws a few times. Cons: Place is worn and outdated. The two women in our group were not very happy, but have high expectations. Given the price, the guys were plenty happy! Final thoughts - if you are on a budget and not too picky, this place is for you! Location, although not near the beach is extremely walk-able and there is plenty of room for a group of 8-10+. If you are on your honey moon or having a couples retreat, this may not be the place for you!

Interesting house: PROS: • location, monkeys, pool. • Trimaran was a nice outing. • Great day of fishing on the Bertram. CONS: • Not at all inviting – dangerous parking, greeter did not speak English, she did not know how to work the TVs, there were no coffee filters, no coffee, no paper towels in the kitchen, no soap or shampoo in the bathrooms. • The gym that is advertised was not available to guests. • The piano pictured on the web was crap. • The bathroom for main bedroom was through the living room. • Steps, steps, and more steps. Dangerous step into the main bedroom. I would not rent this property again.
