Beautiful Lakeview Property with the private beach

Pool needs cleaned, equipment needs hidden and skimmer fixed. The area around the pool switches needs to have a clear path and bushes trimmed. A shed next to the deck would be great to stick equipment and pool toys in. Light on deck stairs does not work or we could not find a switch to turn anything on. Also one of the lights above the deck is out. However this place was great! I would highly recommend this property!!!

Perfect place for our multi generational group for family wedding. There was plenty of room to spread out and something for everyone. Gorgeous views and wonderful private beach access. Don’t let the stairs scare you, worked out fine for us. Wonderful family memories made during our stay!

We had an excellent time here. Enjoyed the overlook where we viewed the sunset every night and the pool immensely. Could have done with fewer stairs to the beach, however! House was very clean and had everything we needed for cooking and relaxing.

This property was the best supplied we've encountered. Not only was it well stocked but the stock was of good quality. From soap to trash bags to towels to beach chairs. All was great. The pool and the decks were great. Unbelieveably gorgeous place to watch the sunset. Felt very safe with the retractable pool cover.Drawbacks were that one upstairs and one downstairs bedrooms were hot and stuffy. And the150 stairs to the beach were not for the faint of heart and could use some pruning of the foliage and repair of some of the stairs.Overall, this place is a 9 out of 10.

Our family absolutely loved our stay. It was perfect for a group, with ample space both inside and outside. We walked down the steps to the beach every day of our trip and loved having a pool on site. The house was also very clean when we arrived. We would love to come back some day!

The house was as advertised and had everything needed. The pool was fabulous and the beach was great. The stairs to the beach were a bit scary but still manageable by everyone in our group. I would recommend the property for a family vacation

We selected this property for our family to stay in for our youngest son's wedding being held at a local vineyard/winery. The home had plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The finished basement with wet steam room with shower and separate sauna, bar/rec area bedroom and bathroom made the perfect area for our son and his groomsmen to prep/dress for the wedding. Swimming pool and overlook of Lake Michigan along with steps leading down the bluff was great for pictures and relaxing and watching the sunsets. Large deck area along the pool and second deck area at top of bluff overlooking the lake were used daily for relaxing and sightseeing. It was PERFECT for our group of 9 adults and 4 children. We stayed for 5 nights over Labor Day weekend. A GREAT TIME super location and beautiful home. You must look at the listing pics on VRBO. We had communicated with the owner about a year in advance and the owners accomodated giving us a tour in the fall of 2023 to insure that the property would meet our needs The owners were/are EXTREMELY nice an helpful. THANK YOU for a fantastic weekend and family memories that will last through generations!!! THANK YOU!!!!

Very nice place Beautiful view of the lake

Large, modern, clean house with a great yard/pool + direct private beach access and stunning view view to watch the sunset with a cocktail or watch kids in the pool with lake michigan in the background. Well stocked house for things you need (cups, plates, bowls, silverware, appliances, utensils, bedding, pillows, robes, towels, ample indoor/outdoor comfortable furniture, etc... we never lacked anything we needed). Host was communicative and easy to work with. Really enjoyed the sauna (mostly adults) and pool (mostly kids). Only downsides of the trip were outside of host's control -- there was a bacterial issue in the lake and the County government closed all the beaches for e-coli risk for most of our stay -- a bunch of kids at a beach house and can't go in the water was a bummer. Also, St. Josephs is okay, but some of the surrounding areas are not as nice or tourist friendly. We would stay here again for the host, house, and amenities (beach, pool, sauna, view, etc), but were not in love with the destination... however that could be just our personal preferences. Stay with confidence if this is your preferred vacation destination.

The views are breathtaking, great access to the sandy beach with lots of areas to collect rocks.

The house and amenities are great. My group of 10 were very comfortable and enjoyed the MANY amenities the house includes - 3 washer/dryers, 3 refrigerators, projection TV, workout equipment and much more. I give 5 stars to the house and location. Contact with the property manager/owner was also good, as we had a couple items to ask about. The only disappointing feature was the outside. The pool was not properly prepped for use. The water was cloudy, there was dirt in the bottom, and wasn't well heated. Turns out there wasn't enough water in the pool to properly clean and heat the water. A service tech visit corrected that but later in our stay. The high end grill did not work well until we cleaned some of the burners. Finally, the landing overlooking the lake needs better trimming and clean up, and is not as it appears as in the picture.

Our group had a lovely stay at this home. The heated pool and large lawn was a plus and the sunsets were amazing. We’d definitely stay again!
