Stayed Sep 25, 2025The little stone villa was just magic! It suited our family of 5 to a tee. The villa is fully equipped with everything you will need. We were able to have family bbqs as well cooked meals in the kitchen. The pool is a great size and depth for families and the view from the deck is breathtaking. The only downside for us was the upstairs shower screen was broken which prevented us from using that shower and the shower downstairs was extremely small. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely return if ever we are back in Kymi.

Stayed May 31, 2025Delightful property in beautiful surroundings. Fantastic private pool. Unfortunately host absent through illness without adequate thought given to queries (previous reviews stressed wonderful host). Neither Very difficult steep lane nor obligation to feed 2 cats twice per day were mentioned in property info or in our communication with owner/ host. We had to deal with serious ant problem caused by cat food. Not what you want while on holiday! Very disappointing.

Stayed Jul 21, 2024The 'little stone villa' is a beautiful, large family home. A house made with love for old stones, nature, culture and history of the area. Nothing is missing in this house. Beautiful pool, terrace, equipped kitchen. In addition, the hosts and hostesses are charming, friendly and extremely helpful. Last tip, try the delicious smoothies from Lackis Juice Bar in Platana.. Thank you Lina, Nick, Lotti and Eric.

Stayed Jun 11, 2022We had a wonderful two weeks staying at The Little Stone Villa.. Nick & Linda are wonderful hosts...great communication, very helpful with directions & nothing was too much trouble... After a busy few days soaking up Athens & the Parthenon, Little Stone Villa provided a peaceful, relaxing, away from it all break..the pool was fantastic (make sure you meet Robert the pool cleaner! ;) and we spent most of our time there... The area is stunningly beautiful which you could appreciate from up on the Terrace or down by the pool...the villa provides a view across the valley to 'Boobie' mountains & right down to the amazing blue sea! The villa is located on the side of the hill so an SUV or 4x4 is very handy especially with 4 adults & luggage...Linda will meet you & show you the way down to the villa... Locally you have Enoria, Kymi & Platana...Kymi was a bit tricky to get out of once in there as there are lots of one way systems but Linda's advice is to park up just outside and walk in...there is a good supermarket there and also another large one on the road out of Kymi going North....however there are smaller mini-markets, a butcher & green-grocers down in Platana, which is only 10 minutes in the car...there is also a good Pharmacy on the left as you enter Platana, the Pharmacist spoke good English & was very friendly & helpful....Nick's advice was to stop at Lidl in Aliveri & stock up there with all the larger items..lots of restaurants along the front but our favourite seafood place was with Yianni at the Koutelou Tavern behind Glykos Pastries just to your left as you enter the village...the food was the best I've ever tasted..I had Prawns with spaghetti, simple but the flavours were outstanding! We went back the next night & chose our freshly caught fish.... We also went in Glykos Pastries for brunch one day and served by the very friendly Maria who spoke good English...nice spot to gaze over the blue sea while having a drink or snack.... Lots of choice & Linda is happy to recommend places.... We did venture up to the Moni Sotiros where visitors are allowed up to 12:30. The nuns allowed us to walk around the Monastary & opened a door at the top where you can walk out on to the rooftop & be greeted with a stunning view! You aren't allowed in the church but a nice few hours out & about... It is very quiet so you won't find lots of tourist shops or lively night-life...Little Stone Villa is a peaceful spot to un-wind & soak up Greece..perfect!

Stayed Aug 8, 2020We were obviously unsure if we'd make it to Greece this year but were so very glad we did. After a difficult time, what we all really needed was a recharge and this holiday certainly delivered. Linda was very reassuring and put our mind at ease. The house was lovely and clean, in a very peaceful location with an amazing view. The pool and the pool area was our favourite way to spend our days, followed by dinner in one of the many restaurants in nearby Platana and Kymi port. If you want a holiday that is Greek Greece (we didn't encounter one Brit the whole time, bliss!) this is the place for you. We never ventured far (the nearby beaches are lovely), but didn't want to or need to and had a large choice of books to read. We'd love to come back soon!

Stayed Jul 13, 2019What can we say....it was fabulous. Linda is an excellent host who really cares about your visit and this is reflected in the property and facilities offered. The location is so peaceful and the view spectacular.....we found it difficult to tear ourselves away to sightsee on some days. Both the terrace and pool have excellent views and our week flew by. We would whole heartedly recommend this villa. Claire and Andy Lewis

Stayed Aug 24, 2019Really prompt and useful information. The little things had been thought of, no need to bring beach towels, or buy dishwasher tabs - all provided. Stunning location, the ‘real Greece’. Great choice for somewhere a little different with no pressure to do anything but relax.

Stayed Aug 12, 2019Little Stone Villa is the perfect location (on the outskirts of the town of Enoria) for a tranquil and relaxing holiday on the island of Evia. The views from the terrace and the pool are stunning. The cosy villa is so well stocked it feels like 'home from home'. The 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom villa was ideal space for our family of 4 (children 15 and 12). This was our first visit to Greece and we experienced an authentic Greek experience. The island has few non-Greek tourists. We visited the Sunday Konistres market (for fruit and vegetables, local honey) and spent many days by the pool and at the local beaches 5 to 10 drive minutes away (Kimi, Platana, Soutsini-sheltered and clear waters, perfect for snorkelling). We also ventured to Kalamos beach (30min away) with stunning turquoise waters and white sands. Enoria village is a 5 min walk up the hill from the villa offering stunning panoramic views. We watched the sun rise over the Aegean horizon from Enoria church. There are local supermarkets (Kimi town), bakeries (delicious pastries/breads), greengrocers serving smoothies and ice cream (Platana). The tavernas in local Kimi beach and Platana, Figouli (15 min walk) offer good traditional Greek cuisine or seafood. We also drove up 'Scraggy mountain' to visit the church (visible to the top right of photo 3) with breathtaking views along the coast and went hiking in the Vromonera forests with our informative tour guide Nico. All in all we had a wonderful stay on this beautiful Greek island. Thank-you to our generous host Linda for all your hospitality.

Stayed Jul 5, 2019We loved the house and we loved the island of Evia. We loved sitting on the terrace eating our meals looking at the mountains and the sea. The view was stunning. The house was very well equipped, everything you need, you could find. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of warm water in the showers. The pool was big and there were sunbeds and umbrellas. You need to have a car so you can visit the villages and the beaches. Linda was a very helpfull lady and a nice host. We love to come back again!

Stayed Jun 9, 2019The outside of the property is perfect for a family to hang out. The views is awesome and the pool is perfect for both fun and cooling down. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you'll need to cook a meal. As recommended our visits to the Kalamos beach was great.
