Bear Lake get away near Kalaskla MI

This home was perfect for our family vacation which consisted of my older sister, daughter and grandsons and us and our dog. The home was very large and had plenty of beds and bathrooms for all of us. The kitchen had a lot of amenities that made staying there perfect. We loved being just a short walk to a crystal clear lake and beach. There was plenty of shade to sit at the beach or on the backyard deck. The home was located close enough to the activities that we were looking to do in Traverse City, Elk Rapids and nearby. We went on a sailboat trip with the kids, to a bug and butterfly zoo, a yak farm and casino. Something for everyone. The beautiful lake was what I was hoping for and it didn't disappoint. Would definitely stay here again. Host was helpful, nice, and easy to reach. Check in was a breeze with a code to use for the door. Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful home with all the taxidermy animals. The kids loved that.

Very welcoming home in wooded surroundings. Near many lakes and rivers. Our family vacation was spent here, and accommodations were exceptional. Definitely would recommend and would return.

Great place

Our canoe trip legacy is 23 years old this year. This property was a great fit for base camp. We had great canoeing on the Manistee river, super comfortable lodging and the fire pit made memerable s'mores!

Perfect size house for our adult group of 8

The communication with the property owner was fantastic. It was a great property for our two families and all of our ski gear. The large mud room and laundry room right near the backdoor was perfect to store our ski bags with enough room for our boot dryers to get our ski gear ready for the next day. We enjoyed the spacious living area and large dining room table for all 9 of us to enjoy breakfast and dinner at. We loved the large table for playing games at also. Great spot for our ski weekend with two families, 5 teens and 4 adults. Would definitely recommend.

Place was very nice and accommodations were great for our hunting party. Enough room for us to spread out.

We took our family of 5 to stay here and it was not a disappointment in any way. We were thoroughly impressed by the warmly decorated and very well maintained cabin. It was very clean and had all anyone would need. The location was perfect as well with great pizza nearby. We will definitely be returning hopefully next year!

My family and I had a great stay! The home had everything we needed. We enjoyed the lake and the grandkids had a blast with the little ATV. We adults played Cornhole every day. Overall a very comfortable home.
