Lakefront Retreat w/ Pedal Boat & Dock in Kalkaska

The house and grounds were immaculate, and well appointed with everything we needed … and then some! Rick and Teresa were gracious, wonderful hosts - taking the time to show us around and answer all of our questions! The lake was perfect. Great fishing, beautiful views! This property is a great value, I highly recommend it!

A very nice, spacious & quiet property made for a very relaxing stay. We've done VRBO for many years & although check-in day in person with the owners was somewhat unusual, it was nonetheless very pleasant. Rick & Theresa take good care of the property AND their renters!

What a wonderful place to stay. Every little detail makes your stay perfect. We had the best weather and best sunsets. We enjoyed so much time on the pontoon boat!!! Thanks for such a wonderful trip. Our family made some great memories. Loved this place!

Overall, the place and location was awesome. Had a little problem with one of the bedrooms. The previous renters from the week before had dogs and one urinated in that bedroom which we could not use. Rick and Teresa discounted the cost due to that issue. All in all, it was a great week with wonderful weather! Thank you both for being so attentive.

We had a wonderful stay. Rick and Theresa are excellent hosts and great people!! We enjoyed boating, shopping, bonfires but most of all relaxing at the house.

We loved our stay. It was the best cottage we have ever rented. The place was clean and cozy. The fishing was stellar. Can’t wait till next time when we all go back to Our Place?

Quiet Crawford lake in ranch style cottage. Very nice place and liked cooking on BBQ and Black stone under covered porch. Dock was great to park our boat and we enjoyed fishing, boating and tubing. We had a wonderful time and wanted to stay longer.

What fabulous scenery around both bays. Lovely beaches, and cherry groves and wineries. Charming towns views spectacular! A good place to stay to wander the gorgeous area.

We spent two weeks at Crawford Lake and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was clean, and comfortable and suited us well. The week included boating, fishing, bike rides, smores, relaxing, playing games, short walks, and quiet lake serenity. It's a great place, a great vacation. The only problem was our trip ended.

Our family experience was great. We were an extended family ages 7 - 69. Most of our adventures circled around fishing. We moored 2 boats at the dock and they went out in morning and evening to troll and still fish. There also was fishing off the dock for pan fish. Everyone caught something but we are catch snd release fisherman. The younger 2 went out tubing with their Mom and Uncle and and had a ball!! I could hear them laughing from the front deck. Inside the house there was everything available that we needed to cook almost every meal we ate. The place was clean and pretty spacious. It was close enough to town so we could hop over there for supplies. All around nice time.

Weather didn’t cooperate but had a great time regardless. Plenty to do!

We have a small cottage on the lake and needed extra space to have family up. There Was plenty of room to spread out and the owners were accessible for any issues, even our late check in. Love our lake! It’s a quiet slice of heaven!
