Stayed Mar 15, 2025I loved staying in Alexandras Villa! The views over the lake and snow covered mountains where breathtaking. I think I have never ever experienced that before! The house is huge and absolutely luxurious equipped in every sense and aspect and has 4 wonderful bedrooms and from almost every spot in the house you enjoy that unbelievable view! The wooden floors and the interior design is just outstanding. The house is located in a secluded area - but only 4 kilometers from the village - so it is very quiet and peaceful. Waking up in the morning with no sound other then the sounds of nature and the neighbors sheep, surprised me so much that I kept lying in bed listening to the void. Simply beautiful! Just behind the house you can enjoy various hikes and believe it or not I did not meet a single person on my 2 hour hike. Alexandra also offers 2 e-bikes for a reasonable rent per day. The neighbors are farmers and have animals and also offer typical Austrian food. The nearby village offers the best restaurants in the whole area of attersee and there is also a bakery, a shop to buy everything you need, a smallSupermarket and a butcher … we also loved the village and the lake of course. We visited the city of salzburg which is only a 30 min drive away. The whole area of Salzkammergut is a real gem and there is so much to do. We are planning to come back in summer and will be happy to meet Alexandra, the super friendly and helpful host.
