Atmospheric villa in nature, (14 p.), Fireplace, 2 saunas, wifi, large garden

The property is located in a wonderful area in Slovakia, very quite, full of nature, very near to a lot of interesting places, very well equipped and the owner Mr. Ruud is very helpful and if you make a complain within few hours he will do everything to accommodate you. It was a wonderful experience and as we are regular users of Homeaway as we organised yearly holidays for the whole family this was one of the best experiences we ever had. We had a wonderful family holiday in this house. Only a few minutes drive to a good size ski resort, lots of snow and off piste opportunities. Many nice walks in the area, and the lovely view of the castle and the surrounding hills from this very quite peaceful spot where a joy. The owner was very helpful, answered all our questions very promptly, and helped sort issues immediately. The house is warm and comfortable, even for a large family group, and the sauna did the job after a long day out in the open. Would recommend this house to anyone. Thank you for a memorable time.

This is a fine place to enjoy your vacation. It has a cozy feeling, amazingly equipped, as if a friend has lend you his home;the owner, who was very cooperative and informative and great to correspond with. Practically beside your personal staff and a car you and your precious ones need nothing. We were two families with 6 kids and all had great time. We used two double bedrooms (one upstairs and the other downstairs) for the parents, and one big room upstairs for all the kids,who enjoyed living together. We were looking for somewhere to get away from Vienna and this place fit the bill perfectly! A few hours drive and there we were in a lovely town in the mountains. the house is great and is fitted with everything one might need. The fireplace will keep you toasty on chilly nights and the yard is totally fenced in and big -- our dogs loved it and we enjoyed sitting out in the sun sipping wine gazing at the mountains and the castle - fantastic! There is plenty to do from hiking directly from the house to mountain biking and more rigorous hiking a short drive away. don't miss the castle in town or sipping a beer and tasting some local goodies at the tavern/brewery right below the castle. Can't wait to go back!

I am very grateful for finding this beautiful house. Our company consisted of three generations with ages ranging from 0 to 75 years old and all of us felt comfy and cozy in this home. We had fun and will keep in memory views of the valley and forest from salon windows, cozy evenings next to fireplace, smell of the wood in nicely hot sauna... I also have to add that Ruud, the owner of the home, has been very friendly and answered all of the questions we had while planning vacation. This really helped us to save time and energy. We'll be back.

We stayed 8 people (6 adults) and two dogs for almost 14 days, and had a great Holiday in this beautiful part of Slovakia. The house is well equipped, and the manager keeps the house clean and nice. The fenced garden is perfect for small children and dogs. Be sure to visit the Orava Podzamok Castle, and try a trip on the river rafts.
