Stayed Jul 2, 2023We booked this villa for a stay for our family group of 8 for a restful few days. The house was huge and the pool lovely. The facilities in the house included the pool table, electric piano, tv’s and Netflix. The bedroom situation wasn’t ideal for our group which had 3 couples and 2 adult/teenage girls so privacy is important. We carefully checked the listing which noted “4 beautiful bedrooms” however there are only 3. The 4th ‘bedroom’ is a sofa bed in the lounge area. This meant our teenage daughters did not have full privacy. They were also disturbed late at night/early morning by the live-in housekeeper & her niece on occasion. The housekeeper also walked through the lounge area one night after everyone had gone to bed which was a little uncomfortable. The beach is a 10-15 min walk away and is nice. There are limited facilities at the near end of the beach. At the far end there are toilets and restaurants. The surrounding area was not nearly as nice as the house with the property opposite only half finished and with someone sleeping rough along with his dog which barked and howled at night. Several other properties nearby were being demolished and lots of demolition rubble around. There are a few local stores where essentials can be bought but you’d need to get a taxi to the supermarket for anything more. Nearby restaurants are limited. Need a taxi for more choice. Taxis from the main road were easy to find. Hakim was very communicative and helpful throughout.
