Aquaria residence, waterfront and superb beach at Blue Bay

It was a wonderful stay with a very warm welcome and great flexibility regarding check-in and check-out times. We were able to check out much later as our flight was only in the evening. The house is perfect, the kitchen is lovingly equipped, everything is clean and family-friendly. We will definitely come back — our highest recommendation!

We were able to spend some wonderful final days before our return home at the Aquaria Residence. The location is sensational – just a few steps through the garden and you're at the beach, ready to enjoy the beautiful sea. The beach itself feels almost like a private one, as there are very few people around.The house is very well maintained and clean. Diana, the facility manager, was available for any concerns right from check-in. We once had a technical issue with the stove – and within just a few hours, a new one was installed. Truly outstanding service.The proximity to the airport rounded off the great experience for us. We'd be happy to come back :)

We stayed here as a family of four recently and had a fantastic holiday .Mauritius is a beautiful country and has so much to offer . Coral Bay is in a beautiful location with an absolutely stunning beach . The Villa itself was spacious and had everything we could possibly need . Regine the owner was excellent with her responses and quick communication. Diana the housekeeper was lovely and cheerful and cooked us a wonderful Mauritian meal . I will say a hire car is preferable for this location and Regine got us in touch with Louis who organised everything for us . All in all , a great location to holiday and we will definitely be back . Clean, spacious fully equipped villa on a picturesque beach with crystal clear water. Great for those who are more inclined to self cater. Polite, welcoming and friendly staff cleaned the villa every day and organised a meal for our arrival. Regine was a very helpful in organising taxis on arrival and kindly organised for standard groceries to be stocked and even baked a tasty cake for arrival. This place is perfect for a relaxing holiday with sun, sea and sand.

Had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful and tranquil place. Regine the owner is very organised and made our stay seamless and Raj the housekeeper was so lovely and friendly and ensured we were very well looked after every day. With the beach and clear sea just steps away we felt we had found our own little piece of paradise. We look forward to returning.

Mauritius is an Island with many different faces. Mauritius offers different cultures and many different aspects of nature. At our stay on this place we have seen so many of them. The house is located directly on the beach. If we leaved the house we are direct on the beach. We enjoyed the direct near to the ocean and the sandy beach every day. If we stepped into the ocean we are located in the middle of a fantastic coral reef. There we snorkeled for hours to discover the fantastic wildlife of a coral reef. When the weather was not so great we enjoyed the fantastic beaches on extensive walks by the ocean. Everything is possible. A must have on this place is also an excursion to the Black River Georges National Park and to the fantastic Waterfalls. We discovered the fantastic nature of a tropical island in different aspects. It was unbelievable. The house itself is very generous, luxury and very modern. The standard of the house is great. The owner of the house is very hospitable and the staff is lovely. We enjoyed the local meals that they have created for us. No question stayed open. Nothing was missed on our stay. This kind of stay is an advisable alternative to a hotel stay. Kind regards to the owner and the fantastic staff also on this way. We had big expectations and they were fulfilled for 200%. We are looking back to a fantastic stay and we are sure we must come back again.

Very clean, spacious and modern house, directly on the Beach, great view, snorkeling from the Beach was great, thank you very much to Regine and of course Raj, who was looking after the house and us very well!

We rented both the studio Aurea (2/9 -4/10/15) & the residence Aquaria (4/10-17/10/15) when the rest of the family arrived. Both properties are extremely well maintained. Cleaned daily by Raj & Mala. One could have thought that we were the first people to rent the apartments, as they look brand new. Great comfort away from home. Descriptions of both properties are spot on. We rented both the studio Aurea (2/9 -4/10/15) & the residence Aquaria (4/10-17/10/15) when the rest of the family arrived. Both properties are extremely well maintained. Property is cleaned daily except Sundays & public holidays. One could have thought that we were the first people to rent the apartments, as they look brand new. Great comfort away from home. Descriptions of both properties are spot on. Beach is clean, a little bit of rocks out front, however 2 breaststrokes, and you've passed them and the water is sparkling blue. Ideal spot to watch the sun rise, which became a ritual for some. Property is very secure, there's the front gate which is always locked, and also shutters on the sliding doors. Common sense should prevail by not leaving anything outside at night or during the day when no-one is home, as it is after all on the beach. That said we never had any issues. It can get a bit windy at times, however this didn't stop us from making the most of the location. Blue Bay Beach is a short 10 mins walk from the beach. Mahebourg is 10 mins by car or if you're keen there's a bus stop 10mts walk and it cost Rs24 or there's taxis (where you're not the only passengers) who will offer the same service at the same price. Or you can negotiate a price if you want the taxi exclusively. Ile aux 2 Cocos is a recommended day trip, situated across the lagoon from Blue Bay Beach. Recommended restaurants, would be Saveurs de Shin (Chinese) in Mahebourg, La Belle Creole at Pointe Jerome (Creole/Mauritian ). Raj & Mala the ladies who clean have beautiful personalities, both are very trustworthy. Make friends with the local fishermen, and Raj can cook a great meal with local & fresh produce. Mme Lebreton (the owner), what a pleasure to deal with. Nothing is ever too difficult. Always on hand to assist in any way. Very quick to respond. I'm glad we found this little piece of paradise in paradise, as I've been recommending this location to family and friends, and my family & I will definitely return for a stay.
