In a strategic position to reach the beautiful lakes of Nemi and Castel Gandolfo, the famous beach of Sabaudia, Anzio with connections to the islands of Ponza, Ventotene, Palmarola and Ischia. In our flat district, on sunny days, people in search of moments of relaxation stroll among the vineyards and olive groves. For sports enthusiasts, a few meters away is a Center with five-a-side football and beach volleyball courts and an equestrian center. The house is the right balance between modern and ancient, between stone and glass, composed of a large living room with a view of the internal garden, a kitchen equipped with Vietri majolica cladding, a bedroom with an internal bath and an en-suite bathroom, an elegant living room with glass walls and garden view with second bathroom with shower. Internal green space ideal for relaxation and breakfast. Pergola with strawberry grapes for intimate dining. Our desire is to create a family atmosphere and make guests feel at home. Particular attention to local products such as homemade jams, desserts, oil and local wine tasting.

My sister, her son and I enjoyed our escape to the beautiful countryside just south of Rome. The property was beautiful, inside & out, and made a great home base for the week. We found the host easy to work with and the product listing was accurate. We even got to have the pleasure of two vacation dogs for company in our walled estate!

This is a great location just a few minutes from the Velletri train station that takes you straight into Rome. It’s nice to get have some quiet outside the crowds of Rome. The host was very friendly. One bed was very cozy but the others are pull out couches which could be a challenge for some. Overall nice place! Thank you for having us.

This house is AMAZING! The pictures are beautiful, but the actual house is somehow even better. The whole home is a work of art, with very tasteful and interesting art on the walls as well. There is a Roman well inside the house covered in glass with a light in it that you can turn on or off. A yellow and a black lab will greet you and politely ask for some of affection every time you come and go. They were a huge hit. And most of all the hosts were so kind. We arrived much later than we had planned the first night, and they both still greeted us at 10PM. They made us feel welcome and didn’t make us feel bad at all for how late we were. I would highly recommend this place.

We came to visit family in the area and upon arrival to our rental with Claudio we knew instantly we were in quality hands. Claudio and his family (including two amazing and very loving canine members of their family) met us with a warm welcome as we entered their property. Upon our rather late arrival, we needed to still get some dinner. Claudio not only suggested a place to eat, he booked us a reservation at a local, and amazing, restaurant. We quickly set our things down and went to dinner. I cannot say enough on how lovely and beautiful their property is. So quiet and peaceful. The small bungalow we stayed in is separate from their home and has a feeling of “tucked away” into grape vines and trees. There is a glass room for viewing the sunrise and a beautiful large living room area with ancient rock walls whispering of times long gone. The care and design that went into developing this little bungalow is truly inspirational, leaving one to stand in wonder as you gaze upon a enchanting marriage of architecture both ancient and modern The air conditioning is truly a blessing , if not just to move the air around on the warm days. The master bedroom was divine with its large bath tub and separate bathroom in the room. Overall, our stay was wonderful, quiet, and exactly the break from the hustle and bustle of city life that we needed. I would highly recommend a stay with Claudio and his family. You will be well take care of.

The flat is located in an extra building within a wonderful fenced garden. It is beautifully furnished in an old style with many artistic elements such as paintings and an antique glazed fountain. We were warmly welcomed, our dog amused himself with the two local dogs in the huge garden, my wife could relax in the garden while I explored Rome with our children (from the local train station with 1 hour travel time directly to the main station) on several days.

The house is wonderful in every way. The original (very old) structure has been beautifully renovated and expanded with modern additions. It is comfortable, quiet, tastefully decorated and impeccably clean. The grounds are lovely and the location is perfect for exploring the area. Velia and Claudio are very kind and welcoming hosts. We hope to return very soon.

We spent with our two children 10 days in Velletri using the time for Trips to Nemi, Castel Gandolfo, Ostia Antica, Tivoli, Sabaudia Beach and Rom of course. We went to the capital city by train, ist is very comfortable and not expensive. The house in Velletri is big, extraordinary, very tasteful and comfortable furnished. The garden is amazing big and wonderful, we have enough space to spent free time and eat outside. The hosts are very kind and answered all our questions und gave us valuable tips. The two dogs are so friendly and patient, I have never meet such dogs before. We would realy recommend to book this wonderful place. In my opinion it is necessary to travel by car, because the house is placed in a quiet zone and you need it if you want buy something or go to the restaurant. We are very happy to spent our summer holiday in such lovely place, thanks a lot!

We had an excellent week here. The modern part of the cottage is ingeniously attatched to the original, giving an ideal mix of the old and the new. The grounds are extensive and ideal for a stroll with many fruit and olive trees. The friendly welcome given by the hosts was only outdone by the enthusiastic dogs and a very affectionate cat. The location is perfect - beaches and many historic sites are a short car journey away and Rome can be reached in an hour by train.

We had a wonderful one week stay. The property was exactly as pictured and described in the listing. We wanted a quiet country like escape after spending days in the busy city of Rome, this was the perfect getaway. Velia and Claudio were gracious hosts from start to finish. Going above and beyond to help us and make our stay a comfortable one.
