We stayed as a family ( 6 adults & 5 children from 16 to 8 years old) We loved the villa , gardens & wonderful pool , with views you dream of looking over the Tuscan vineyards. Very clean. Silvio, the owner, was always available and attended to our every need. Speaks English and communicates well. Also, provided excellent chef's dinners at the villa with a specially tailored menu based on our needs. Amenities available need to be updated, e.g., hot tub does not work and sleeps 11 (not 12). Overall, great experience and we'd do it again here.

Nestled in the hills of Tuscany, this property is an idyllic location. Only a 30 min drive from Florence, it offered such a welcome respite from the bustle of sightseeing. We were there (7 adults, 1 child) in July 2022 in the midst of a heat wave and the pool was also a treat. Our host Silvio was always available and helped to find a chef who provided two wonderful meals prepared in Tuscan tradition. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay and would recommend to any age group.

This villa is everything we wanted for our Tuscan stay. It is charmingly traditional with loads of internal and external space with a good size pool and amazing views of the Tuscan countryside. Montespertoli is the local town and has everything we needed and is only 2 miles away. Our host Silvio explained everything in excellent english and left us to enjoy our break - thanks to him personally for the extra night too (flight delay). I look forward to inviting Silvio and his family over to the UK when it suits them.

We (11 People - 1 Akita Dog) had a very great time at Casa Serena (07/2017). The house is big and stylish. The garden is very nice and we could relax a lot. The pool was always clean and Silvio, the housekeeper, kept the whole week an eye on it. We could leave our dog in the upper fenced area of the property, while leaving with the car. The whole area is fenced, so we hadn´t to take care or look for our Akita. Silvio is a very nice Person. I just give 4 of 5 stars because the fitness devices and the air conditioning in the fitnessroom need a check soon. The wifi is working in the whole area!!! Casa Serena is situated very nice on a hill. You will have a great view even to San Giminiano. We spent a very wonderful holiday at Casa Serena. Perhaps we shall return any time. I can only recommend Casa Serena and it´s owner Silvio.

Silvio is a very nice host, the property is very nice, with nice outdoor area for al fresco dining, nice pool area and lovely location which is nice and quiet. The villa is a semi-detached, but your space is totally private. Location. Is nice with some nice local restaurants nearby

Owner Silvio Balsamo was attentive and helpful. My family of seven enjoyed the beautiful pool and grounds. The nearby town of Montespertoli was charming and met our needs. If you are looking for a luxury villa stay however, this is not the place for you. It is rustic and had a couple of safety issues. The worst part to me were the bug bites we got in our beds.

Very clean and tidy house. Extremely spacious with plenty of seats both inside and out. Grounds were well kept. Everything we needed to ensure our family holiday in Tuscany was relaxing and comfortable. Owner was very helpful and available for any queries. Highly recommended for its stunning position- easy access to Pisa , Florence , Siena , Lucca and only an hour from coast. A holiday we won't forget.

We spent a week at the villa with three adults and three children ages 13 and 10 and loved it!! The villa was great, nicely off the beaten path yet close to everything (florence, Siena, Pisa) .Traveling to and from the villa has easy and adventurous , the roads are narrow. The villa was in very good condition, clean with everything we needed to make are stay confortable and experience the Tuscany country side . The pool was a added treat after a day for walking the streets of Tuscany, as it was in the 90's. Your hosts are lovely and willing to help with great restaurants suggests, directions and history of the area. Great experience overall and hope to be back some day!!
