A heavenly holiday retreat for large groups on the Sorrento peninsula.

Perfectly positioned close to Massa Lubrense town but within easy reach of local beaches and the crowd-pulling towns of the Amalfi Coast.

• The centre of Massa Lubrense is 2km away. Here you’ll find grocery shops, bars, restaurants and the bus stop.

• Casa di Puolo is the nearest sandy beach (5km) and Marina del Cantone the nearest pebbly beach (9km).

• Take the path down to the waterfront at nearby Marina della Lobra, where you can snorkel and swim in crystal-clear water.

• Visit nearby Sorrento (8km), hop on a ferry or hydrofoil from Sorrento port to Capri and other locations, or take the Circumvesuviana train from Sorrento to Pompeii.

• For hikers and nature lovers, Termini is the starting point for trails along zigzagging rural lanes and clifftop paths with spectacular views of the island of Capri.

• Learn about local food and wine on a farm tour.

• Visit the iconic towns of Positano (20km) and Amalfi (36km).

• Naples Capodichino International Airport – 65km.

Avoid the crowds by staying at this off-the-beaten-track location on the tip of the Sorrento peninsula.

• While nearby Sorrento gets very busy in peak season, you can escape some of the crowds by staying in Massa Lubrense. Better still, visit in May, June or September, when there are fewer tourists in the busier locations of Positano and Amalfi.

• The villa offers the ideal spot to combine lazy days by the pool or on the beach with exploring cultural attractions and shops in Sorrento.

• Explore the region’s extraordinary gastronomy by taking advantage of an in-villa chef or, for something really special, head for the Michelin-starred restaurants in Nerano and Sant’Agata sui due Golfi.

• Whilst having a car to get around is recommended, please note that the villa is only accessible via a narrow road with a width of around 200cm so is not suitable for large cars. If this is unavoidable, larger cars can be parked around 1km from the villa with a luggage service available (for a fee).

Privacy and space for groups at this large traditional villa in Massa Lubrense.

We love the pool and the kitchen area. We spend most of our time hanging out as a family and enjoying the beautiful view. Price transparency with fees.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property , The place was spotless, well-equipped, and even more charming than the photos. It had everything we needed and more—comfortable beds, a great kitchen, and a stunning view that we’ll never forget. The location was perfect—peaceful, yet close to everything. The host was kind, responsive, and made sure we felt completely at home throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Home is huge and a great space for entertaining. It is located about 80 euros away to get into Sorrento. The road to get to the property is difficult to navigate so definitely get a small car. The views and outdoor space are incredible, plan ahead for the road that is very steep though. You will not want to walk it up and down. There is a grocery store about a 5 min drive away.

Grand, period villa that was obviously splendid in its hay day but is now in need of attention. The period furniture is a showpiece but is generally impractical for everyday use. The bedrooms are functional rather than grand all with questionable plumbing facilities but all with the overriding feature of excellent views. The kitchen is large but flatters to deceive. It is poorly appointed with what appears to be surplus equipment that the owners have long disused and whilst impressive in its hay day no longer has one cupboard door that fits correctly. Again it is badly in need of attention. The pool is the best feature and the surrounding views are spectacular. The exterior dining area again benefits from the splendid views but the sophisticated mood lighting that was once a feature is now overridden by garish solar lighting that has been introduced as a means to cut costs. Access to the property is via a particularly narrow and steep lane. If you are not used to Amalfi Coast roads it is both a challenging drive and even more challenging walk. Medium sized car as a maximum but preferably small. By far the worst feature, and maybe this was something that we missed when renting the property was the presence within a sealed off part of the building of the owners. It became apparent to us that the property was being checked upon, a/c adjusted, lights adjusted etc whilst we were away. Additionally there was security lighting and cameras throughout and on several occasions there were observations made by the owners that suggested that our privacy was not always being respected and whilst the owners were helpful and friendly it is fair to say that their ‘control’ over the property was not something we found totally acceptable. The significant amount of money we paid for one week should have been enough to ensure that we had total control of the villa for the rental period.

We had a wonderful stay in Massa Librense! This location is a few min off of the main grid, but in excellent service distance to all things Amalfi. Once you get used to the narrow drive up to the house, you will enjoy the huge pool, the funky , but spacious house, the the fantastic outdoor space. We loved our stay! ❤️
