Aegean Villa Albatross

This is the most luxurious villa in the south coast of St. John Theologos village. It is an ideal house for families with all comforts that anybody can ask for. The villa is located on Theologos beach, of Fthiotida Greece, one of the most picturesque and popular summer resort for tourists. The villa has an uninterrupted breathtaking view of the endless blue sea, which can relax and inspire any of its guests. Just an hour travel from Athens city center (128 km), this villa embraces all the needs and desires for even the most demanding guest. The architecture of the villa is designed in such a way that is offering open plan perception, simplicity and luxury at the same time.
The villa can accommodate up to 16 guests (total 550 sqm) and/or 8 guests (3 bedrooms ground floor and 1 attic bedroom with its own individual entrance, 240 sqm), of luxury and comfort. One of the most breathtaking characteristics of the villa is the private access to the sea (dives from the rocks and steps curved on the rocks for easiest swimming approach) and the swimming pool that captures guest's eye due to the endless blue that it faces.

It comprises of 5 bedrooms, all with renovated en suite bathrooms and a large family area which has 3 bedrooms, a private living room area and a luxury bathroom. All bedrooms have a King's size bed and are very spacious. The upper inside main dining room catering for up to 10 seated persons, fully equipped kitchen, a spacious living room area with fireplace and an extra bathroom for guests. The large veranda at the end of the living room and the ground floor veranda both have a panoramic view that can fascinate every guest, especially the moment when the sun sets into the sea. The bedroom with en suite bathroom in the attic can offer to guests a totally new experience of privacy and incredible view.

The playroom at the lower level of the house can offer moments of joy not only to children but also to the adults. It has ping-pong table, a French billiard and darts. The fireplace in the playroom is the most important element that ensures a traditional and relax atmosphere. At the same level there are 4 of the villas bedrooms, the second kitchen fully equipped and the possibility for seated dining up to 12 persons inside by the playroom or by the pool seating 10 persons. The villa offers to the guests a feeling of independence and privacy, during their stay.

Interior decoration

The house is the diamond of the area, majestic with its white color and brown blinds. The decorative elements of marble and wood give immediately to the guests a warm, earthy feeling of belonging. Pieces of furniture custom made, marble and tile floors sculpted by traditional sculptors are some of the features that add unique comfort and character to the guest's stay.

The swimming pool

The swimming pool generates a feeling of endless blue view. With a shallow, child welcoming section, the pool can offer unique moments of family fun during the day, refreshing dives while lazing in the sun and great evenings under the starry skies. The wooden deck, the shady kiosk, the 2 large wooden tables and sun beds can definitely ensure relaxation and moments of happiness.

Landscaping

The villa has a private road that ensures the security of the guests, as well as private parking. The villa is surrounded by endless gardens and in the right side of the villa the garden is planned with seasonal vegetable and trees. The property has several, open air sitting areas, with wooden benches that create little oases throughout the day and night, offering to the guests times for barbeque, parties and gatherings.

The sound of waves accompanies guests when they sleep and the paved path leading to the rocks and the sea can offer them the holiday that they dream.

The Neighborhood

Theologos is a beautiful seaside village of Fthiotida which is close to Athens and is ideal for small or long getaways all year round. The naming originates from the small church of St. John the Theologian. Beside the church are the ruins of the ancient city of Alon, most of which lie on the beach and in the sea. In this archaeological site excavations had been made with lot of discoveries: priestly houses, altars, monuments and a four-column temple dedicated to Athena.

Except the great beach of Theologos, bays hidden in green and several nearby small or large beaches wait for you to enjoy during your holidays. The villa is in close distance from the famous natural thermal springs of Kamena Vourla, which is situated about 60 km north of Theologos, in central Greece and it is one of the oldest known hot bath spots. It has been in use since antiquity all the way to the present. It stands on the coastline of the tranquil north Evoikos gulf. It is categorized among the rarest thermal springs in the world because of its richness in natural minerals, salts and radon.
