Aegean Escape: Designer Villa with Pool and Jacuzzi near Plaka Beach. Incredible sea and mountain views!

We had an excellent stay at Villa La Punta for four nights. Perched in the hills above Plaka beach, the villa was a great property for our party of 8 - spacious, comfortable, beautifully designed. The layout is excellent - dining outside with the view is a treat, and the layout of the bedrooms across multiple buildings gave everyone their own space. The villa is very well equipped - if you’re looking to cook at home, this is a great kitchen. We brought in Private Chefs Naxos for two nights - one of the recommended providers - who were excellent. Heidi, Gitte and Mathhaios were very easy to deal with, making sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Recommend having your own car to make the most of the island. Ubers and taxis were also available for evenings in town, but you should leave plenty of time for pick ups.

Well, the access road was surprisingly steep. I am happy it was daylight when we arrived. A few things I want to point out: it said in the description that the master suite with the king bed also had a twin bed. That is not the case. We had a portable bed brought in. The other minor suggestion is for detailed instructions on the dishwasher, washer and dryer. The dryer has a water tank that needs to be emptied…that is not familiar to US residents. It would be nice to have plastic glasses and plates for dining outside and some more silverware. The house is beautiful and we had a wonderful time. It is not really within walking distance to the beach…not sure the distances were accurately described in the listing.

The house was gorgeous and very comfortable. Unfortunately, we found out that June-August is windy season on Naxos and we did have quite a bit of wind which affected not only the enjoyment of the beautiful pool but also of the beaches on the island. It’s a fabulous place, great views, peaceful location, but this put a small dent in our enjoyment. Laundry (with dryer!) was a welcome amenity at the tail end of a long trip. I would also suggest getting a car service in advance for transport to the house if you aren’t renting a car.

We loved staying at this beautiful home so much. We really didn’t want to leave. We stayed together as a family and enjoyed the beautiful property and the amazing view of the mountains and the ocean. We happened to experience a rare sand storm and the manager came to clean the next day. The entire team was very responsive and we loved every moment of our stay.

The property was amazing with plenty of room for six adults and all of the amenities we needed. The views were incredible and the villa was only a short drive to the town and beach. We’d definitely come back again. Note some of the roads in Naxos aren’t paved so it will take some careful driving to get to some areas and the villa.

The property was clean and well designed with beautiful views. The road to the property was a bit rough, but the trip was worth it.

We have had the most wonderful vacation in Naxos at Villa La Punta! The house is in a fantastic location with an incredible view to the sea and the mountains, which we didn’t expect ! Very nice! We had guests during our stay and the fact that the rooms are in separate buildings (two and two), is really nice for the privacy for each of us! The living room and the kitchen - no words - only WOW!! And the outdoor spaces where we had dinners, the very special pool with the rivers running into it, what could we ask more? …. A jacuzzi with great Seaview!, which were also there! We will surely come back!

Villa La Punta is a crowning achievement. The architectural design is magnificent. The views of the Aegean Sea from the patio and the expansive windows of the central building are awe-inspiring. The sunsets afforded to you are inspirational. The privacy of the three separate sleeping areas is genius. This villa is minutes from the beach but away from the crowds. And if the beach is not what you desire, the swimming pool with the flowing river and infinity edge are all that you need to cool down in the Grecian sun. If you want to experience Greece in an opulent way while taking in the simplicity of the Naxos island, then this is the location for you!
