Absolutely wonderful stay at 81 Moorings! It was perfect for our family with young children. The villa was spacious, extremely clean, very close to the beach, and had all the necessities as well (plenty of paper towels, toilet paper, beach chairs, etc). The area was incredibly beautiful and just steps from the Dunes House with great fish tacos! It was my favorite condo out of all that we have rented over the years. The owner, Jim, was incredibly friendly and readily available to answer any questions about the villa & the area in general.

This was our third time staying at Jim’s place for our girl trip. We love everything about it.

Townhouse was pretty much as described. I will say that it is a older unit, view of the pool is ok, house could be cleaner. We did not get a chance to play pickleball or tennis but alot of courts and people playing. Easy walking distance to a few restaurants and general store, beach was very close though no view from home as we knew. Great biking trails, we used our ebikes all over island and beach. Overall a good experience.

The villa was perfect.it is well equipped and everything was in good working order. The furniture and decorating is very beach casual but in good codtion and comfortable for six adults and a baby. All the emenities of PALMETTO DUNES. ARE very close by and most are within easy walking distance.any future trips to Hilton Hesd we’ll certainly be be giving Jim a call to stay in his villa. It really is the very best villa we’ve stay at. Would highly recommend !

Had a lovely stay with our family of four. Such a great location - close to the beach, tennis/pickleball courts and the general store. The condo was in great condition. If we come back to Hilton Head, would look to stay here again.

The villa was excellent, lots of space, clean and tidy. Location can't be beat just seconds from the beach. The host was awesome, answered all questions and provided detailed info about the location, things to do, the villa itself, check-in/check-out. We had nothing bad to say about our stay.

Our stay in the Moorings was just as listed. You can not beat the location to both the beach and Racket Center. Jim was the BEST host we've had with VRBO. We will definitely look at the Moorings on future visits to HHI!

Location, location, location! This condo was perfect for our family of 6. Stocked with all the beach amenities, seconds from the pool and minutes from the beach. We loved the Palm Dunes area for renting bikes, walking to the General Store, restaurants within walking distance and a large grocery store and many more restaurants and put put golf just a minutes drive away. We would love to come back, Jim our host was very responsive and welcoming.

Great location right next to dunes house restaurant and beach. Very short walk to tennis and pickleball. Condo was well laid out with upgraded kitchen area.

Excellent host, location was perfect, beach access maybe 1i minute away, very clean, well equipped, AC worked great.

This is my second stay at this Condo in the past 2 months. My first stay was with another couple and it was fabulous for that. This time it was with family including small children. The condo was great, but it was cooler temperatures so the pool was not able to be used by us. Also, the pool isn’t really designed for small children. It begins at 3’. There isn’t a baby pool or splash pad. Also, the property doesn’t have a playground area. However, there is one over at Shelter Cove. Overall, great for adults and older children.

We came down for five to celebrate my birthday and the owner really make us feel welcome! First we make the reservation one day before we were scheduled to be there and he was able to accommodate us. The villa was in great condition. Everything worked, plenty of kitchen utensils, clean and only a five minute walk to the beach!! But what make it even more greater was that Mr. Jim stayed in contact with us to see how we were doing! I could go on and on, but I think I have wrote enough for now. This was certainly five star service! Thank you Jim P.!!!!

Love this Villa! The lay out was perfect for 2 adult couples. Plenty of privacy and good communal space. I always love having a washer and dryer to use. The convenience to everything was the best I’ve had in Palmetto Dunes. Easy walk to beach. Free Pickleball was definately a plus for us. And being right there next to the Dune House was a bonus! We loved our get away there and will be back soon!

We just completed our 5th stay at Jim's place on hilton head and as always, it was great. You won't find a better location in relation to proximity to the ocean and the pool. Palmetto Dunes is centrally located and easy to get everywhere. Jim's place offers everything you need for a great, relaxing stay. We will be back for a 6th time in the future.

We stayed with our boys, sister, and her husband. Really enjoyed the close walk to the beach and the condo’s home feel!

Quick and easy access to the beach and The Dunes House restaurant and bar made for a relaxing stay. Just parked and walked.

This is our second time staying in this condo and we plan to return. Jim is very conscientious and a good communicator. The pool is refreshing and the beach is close!

The condo location was perfect - easy walk to the beach (would probably be 90 seconds if we didn’t have 3 small children in tow) with a beachside restaurant right at the beach access point. Easy walk to the general store and easy access to walking path. Literally couldn’t be closer to the pool. We had everything we needed in the condo and it was the right amount of space for our 2 adults and 3 kids.

Jim the owner was gave us all the details for the condo in a timely manner The location of the The Moorings is fantastic- steps to the beach!!The property was clean and comfortable- all you could ask for !!!We will go back again for sure !!

Perfect location for a family stay. Beach, pool, outdoor restaurant, tennis, pickle ball, golf, bike rentals and general store are all within walking distance. Property Manager made sure everything was communicated ahead of time and even followed up with me a couple days into my stay to make sure I was happy. I would definitely stay here again!
