The only thing regardless of how much we moved air to cut off the air would not go off and it was very cold in the home. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our vacation at Sandestin Golf and Resort was good. Good weather up until we departed. Beach was beautiful as always. Went to the pool close by and it was good. Our villa had some things that needed to be fixed, storm door spring broke on the first day. Upstair bathroom doorknob doesn’t work. Maintenance had to come fix the faucet in the shower because you couldn’t adjust the water temperature. The A/C worked perfectly! We stayed cool the whole time. The golf cart was good, except that it needs to be a 6 passenger cart instead of 4 passenger. The villa sleeps more that 4 people.Overall, we had a great time and look forward to coming back to Miramar Beach in the future.

This is our fifth year staying in the Sandestin community. The property was clean and well outfitted for our family of four. The proximity to the lake in the back for fishing was perfect. Access to local beaches and activities was very good. Great communication with the property manager. There were a few issues with maintenance including the washing machine turning off mid-cycle, the downstairs bathroom shower was difficult to adjust for temperature, and the patio door is very hard to open/close. Just suggestion: a grill and a pizza cutter would have improved our experience. Overall we were happy with this unit and we thank you for having us.

Golf cart was a life saver. Don’t forget to explore past the tunnel, kids loved adventure land, and the pool on bayside was always almost empty in the evenings!

There were a few times where cars from other condos were parked in front of our place and at times we were not able to park the golf cart in a spot because there were cars from other condos already parked in the spot where our golf cart was supposed to go so it could be plugged in. Overall, it was mostly clean. Just a heads up, we did see dead cockroaches in the upstairs bathroom closet carpet.

Reviewer Comments: Pros: location- 2-3 minute drive to the beach, just down the street from several restaurants. Pond right out the back door made for a relaxing view while drinking coffee in the mornings. (My husband fished in it but never caught anything) My 6 and 7 year old loved feeding the turtles in the pond and playing in the large grassy “backyard” area. The layout was perfect for a family of 4 and 2 grandparents. Cons: everything feels dated, which would be fine if it was only from a design perspective but unfortunately it’s everything. Doors- one bathroom door downstairs couldn’t be shut because it would get stuck every time, and the handle on the sliding glass door to the patio is almost broken from the door being so difficult to slide. Like other reviewers have said, the queen mattress downstairs feels like sleeping on a futon. It needed to be replaced a long time ago. The golf cart got a flat tire after two days of us being there. It took a day and a half to get it fixed so that wasn’t fun. The rental company communicated with us well, but wish it could have been handled sooner.

Hopefully after our stay they secure the dishwasher to the counter and replace full mattress downstair bedroom bc u can see the depression in the mattress when u walk in the room. New frig was great, location great, golf great but watch those brakes, very touchy. Must try maple street biscuit company. Super close. In the plaza next to you stay.

We absolutely loved this house! It exceeded expectations. I thought it actually looked better in person than the pictures showed, which is not common. It was quiet and peaceful as we drank coffee and ate breakfast on the back patio. The view was fantastic. Everything was very clean! And the golf cart was a huge plus for getting around the resort. The only two things that I would suggest to the owner- and they are very minor- is a new queen mattress in the downstairs bedroom and the slow drain in the shower upstairs. Overall, we loved this house and would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful views and locations near restaurants and stores. My husband enjoyed fishing..Will do this again.
