Stayed Apr 19, 2024The property was great with plenty of room. After spending the previous few days in downtown Lisbon, the privacy, the quiet, and the views were amazing. The bedrooms were a little musty so we needed to air them out, but everything else was fine.

Stayed Jul 24, 2021We enjoyed the villa to have a friend's vacation and it was incredible days. The house was super clean and the spaces are quite pleasant for 6 people. The outdoor space with the pool is great and we feel a lot of privacy. We highly recommend this villa!

Stayed Jun 27, 2021Had a great stay! The only disadvantage is that you need a car to go somewhere, because the villa is quite isolated. However, that has been no problem at all and we really enjoyed staying here!

Stayed Sep 9, 2019We spent a wonderful time with a group of friends in the villa, which is quite a lot bigger than it appears online. The pool is amazing, with lots of space around it, and the location of the place was perfect for us, as we had absolute privacy and calm the whole week we were there - good to have a car for mobility. Porches itself has some good restaurants and super markets are close by as well. Definitely a recommendation!

Stayed Aug 25, 2019In a private location with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside, this charming villa has everything you need for your holiday. Our teenage children loved the pool (not gated and steps so ideal for them perhaps not smaller ones) and the WiFi was fantastic for them. Though you feel like you are in the countryside the villa is actually only 5 drive minutes from an excellent supermarket and 10 minutes from loads of beautiful beaches. Communication from the lovely owner Sophie was excellent. Highly recommended! *****

Stayed Dec 31, 1969A great place to stay. Fabulous pool, spacious villa, no neighbours, great countryside views. It is a bit hard to find the villa but that is only a problem the first time. Also its a fair hike over rough ground to the village but frankly eating at home in the evenings is a joy with the bar b que by the pool or the well equiped kitchen. The owner was very helpful and the housekeeper who cleans once a week was very good. We stayed in Jan and though we sat in the garden in the evenings the log fire was welcome after dark. The surrounding area has many attractions but you do need a car to make the best of them. Spend some time here - we loved it.
