Or explore the nearby World Heritage Site Galle Fort, temples, and tea plantations, swim, or surf, the beautiful white sand beaches. Take a bike ride or a boat trip on the lake or whale watching. Return for a sundowner in the ambalamba or on the jetty and watch the sunset over the lake.

If you don't have a car, you can use tuktuks to explore local tourist sites, beaches and restaurants or take a train to Galle or Matara. Airport transfers can be arranged.

The property is staffed with an English speaking house manager who also cooks, and a gardener. There is a staff bungalow on site, so there is always someone onsite.
