Beautiful house with beautiful swimming pool. Very quiet location. Everything was exactly as described on the site. Contact with the owner and intermediary was very positive. Friendly and very helpful. Highly recommended. Address to remember if we return to the same region.

The welcome was extremely warm and communication was simple, direct and uncomplicated. The house corresponded exactly to the description. The House is locktest in a quiet area. Unfortunately on some days you can smell the local paper mill throughout the whole region. But the stay was very pleasant overall. Gladly again.

We (5 adults from 2 families) have been holidaying for many years in holiday homes in France, Italy, Spain, Croatia and Mallorca. But we have never had such a house before. This house has not been cleaned properly for weeks. The kitchen was totally dirty. All cupboards (inside and outside) dirty and glued. The built-in coffee machine totally disgusting. The white doors to the bathroom covered with dirty fingerprints. The rotor blades of the fans so dirty that it is not only in COVID times an imposition. The cushions of the couch in the living room and the garden are stained and unsightly. The sunloungers were so dirty that you could see the outlines of the previous users on them. sweat, dirt. It's a pity that I can't upload photos here. The photos at FeWo-direkt are years old. The pictured gas barbecue is not available for at least three years. We went home the next morning. Only the next morning, because we had an 11-hour drive behind us and the return trip on the same day was not possible. This is not a matter of something not being completely clean. On holiday you overlook small things and clean up what is important to you. But the dirt in this house was no small thing.

We were a family group of 3 adults, 2 x 4yr olds and a 9yr old. An absolutely lovely villa in gorgeous surroundings. Pool is perfect, BBQ area is amazing and overall accommodation was fantastic! Local beach is so close and despite it being 43degrees was not crowded in the slightest! Local campsite has great bar/restaurant with mini golf, quad biking etc. Couldn’t figure the combi oven but we just BBQ’d everything! Supermarkets all within 10 mins drive so very handy. Mimizan was lovely ? English Sky TV was a bonus for the little ones (we only used it during a storm!). If you want a relaxed, easy going holiday with beach and forest walks...this is ideal! Top tip - walk along the beach towards Mimizan and find a ship wreck....it’s worth the walk! Liz the owner is lovely and Kathryn who looks after the property is equally as lovely! Some fabulous memories made!!

We spent a lovely and warm week in this house in Bias. The house is very well-equipped and has plenty of room for a family of two adults and two children. Bias is a nice and quite little town away from the busy tourist town, Mimizan. We had great weather and really enjoyed the pool. However, we experienced some problems with the chemicals in the pool as both our kids reacted to them. Kathryn attended to our concerns fast and professionally. Due to the sewage construction of French houses (we were told) we also regularly had an unpleasant smell of sewer from one of the two bathrooms, especially when returning to the house after trips. All in all, we had a great week and can warmly recommend this house. For future rentals, an English version of the contract is recommended. Only a French version was presented to us.

The house was very well situated for access by car to several well guarded Atlantic beaches as well as the lake at Mimizan, and the owner told us about an excellent bike hire shop at Contis Plage. The cycle paths in the area are many, beautiful and peaceful and we were also able to use the bikes which belong to the property. Summer in small French towns is always a delight as there are so many local festivals, shows, events taking place, and everything is well publicized. We ate all our meals on the decking area, and spent many happy hours in the pool. It would have been helpful if the BBQ and bikes had been cleaned before our visit, and also if there was an easily accessible folder with up to date tourist information, emergency doctor, hospital and pharmacy numbers, instructions on how to use the kitchen appliances and TV etc. The area is extrtemely peaceful and we all wished we were staying for longer than a week.

Me & my wife and 4 children, comfortable stayed at this lovely property, very clean and today with a fantastic pool. All rooms are of a very good standard. Local walks and bike riding areas are all within a few minutes. A car is a must really to shop or a beach day. We would definitely return to this property.

The villa was amazing, we rented the villa as wanted to take advantage of the cycling paths, but also rather indulged in the home comforts of the villa, lazing by the pool, bbq's on the decking. We were delighted to find that the villa was really well kitted out, no looking for a corkscrew, champagne glass or rummaging around for something to read....everything had been thought of! Thank you, we hope to come back soon!
