My husband and four adult children stayed here for a week in July. Andros is a quiet island so if you like to relax and fish or just take in the gorgeous views from every angle of the home this is the vaca for you . It is a beautiful place to get away from it all. The fishing from our own personal dock was super fun with a multitude of different fish and even sharks. Jr. the home manager was amazing ! He picked us up from the airport and took us anywhere we wanted to go. Jr also took us out on his boat to our own little private island to snorkel ! He was super nice and so very kind and helpful. He really made our stay extra special. Thanks for the memories Coakley House !

My coworkers and I were doing a small project at AUTEC for the US Navy. There was a scheduling conflict with our base hotel reservations. Megans was fantastic and worked magic to get us a place to stay. And what a place! This will definitely be our preferred place to stay when we work the island.

Coakley House is a unique property in special location. We were a group of six men who have been fishing and diving together for over 40 years. We were interested in exploring south Andros and the Bank north and south of Green Cay. Sadly, we were out in the boat most all day but our time ashore was welcome and relaxing. Kitchen well equipped with everything experienced, capable guys need to fend for themselves. Optional ice maker and chest freezer was invaluable to care for our catch. There is no marina or public fuel option in this part of Andros. The owners and on site manager graciously arranged fuel delivery directly to the dock. We covered a lot of ground with a couple of 160 mile round trip days. Over 400 gallons of diesel was delivered during our visit. We are an experienced and self sufficient group of men who have traveled extensively together and well all over the Bahamas for many years. Even so, we all especially enjoyed our time at Coackley House.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Coakley House. Megan answered all of our questions. Junior looked after our every need once we arrived. He met us at the dock when we first arrived via boat. From there on, we saw Junior daily. He helped us rent a car, provided lots of suggestions on where to eat and Shop- Androsia. Fabrics is a must see. The house has a well stocked kitchen and we enjoyed many wonderful meals with fresh fish we caught that day. The dock was perfect for our boat. The tidal pools entertained our 5 year old for hours. We cannot say enough wonderful things about our trip. Thank you for an amazing vacation!!

Coakley house is wonderful and the owners are great. A very relaxing property right on the ocean. Megan was spot on in her assistance and Junior was great showing us around the island for five days. The pier at the house was amazing. My son and son in law actually hooked a shark but it snapped the line. A great time was had by all. I recommend Coakley House for anyone looking for a relaxing vacation away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Thanks Again The Nadigs

Coakley House was everything we expected. Beautiful views everywhere you look. Beautiful patio and outdoor dining area, great views and aquatic life from the dock as well. Andros is definitely a sleepy island, but that’s what we were seeking.

Spent 5 days there with 6 friends from high school fishing and diving on 2 boats. House was excellent. Great views and well stocked kitchen. AC worked great. Pier was perfect . 2 30’ boats fit fine and it was out of the current. Ice machine was a life saver, we used about 100lbs per day. Caretaker, Junior was exceptional! I think that if I asked him for a unicorn, there would be one at the door the next morning. Fishing and diving were good, not many lobster when we were there, but abundant and huge conch. Very safe location, I left the keys in the boat the whole time.
