Welcome to Villa de la Canal! This outdoor oasis is your next base camp to all of the outdoor adventures you could ask for. Although this home has a small indoor layout, do not worry, this home is to be enjoyed outdoors. Equipped with a large private backyard, custom stone arch and wall, outdoor kitchen and seating, large fire pit, covered bunks for sleeping and not to mention the small seasonal creek. If you`re looking for your next outdoor adventure, look no further.

More about the inside space: Inside the home-is one bedroom, one bathroom, a fully stocked kitchen, small dining are and a sofa couch. Other sleeping arrangements are located outside under a covered area in the loft. There are 4 bunk lofts to have the ultimate glamping experience. BYOB (Bring Your Own Bedding) we recommend a sleeping pad for extra comfort, a sleeping bag and a pillow of your choice. We provide all basic necessities to make you feel at home including but not limited to; linens, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, oil for cooking, salt & pepper, tea, coffee, and creamer.

More about the outside space: This home is situated on the corner of a cute, friendly neighborhood. A creek running through it and a large maintained yard. Enjoy the fire pit and outdoor dining/kitchen are. Not to mention it`s just minutes from exploring Whitney Point Recreation area. Launch your kayak or take a stroll at the beach!

Why this location and home Port Angeles is truly a hidden gem. No matter the weather or season you visit, you are sure to find yourself on an adventure! This home is located in the middle of it all, allowing a perfect starting point to many outdoor activities.

They will have access to the yard, outdoor seating, loft and indoor living area.

-There is no wifi at this location.

-This home has a very small hot water heater. Keep your showers short and sweet and make sure not to do the dishes before you hop in the shower.

-If you would like to use the outdoor fireplace, please bring your own wood. We supply one bundle per guest.

-There are wild animals that frequent the area, think camping but you`re in a quaint neighborhood. Our neighbors include Deer, Elk, Raccoons, squirrels, etc. They will likely pay you a visit during your stay. Please do not feed the wildlife and do not leave food unattended outside as it will attract them to the home. We also ask that you maintain a healthy distance and do not get too close for photos ops.

*Guests will be charged an extra $25 for late check out; check out time is approximately (11am) unless otherwise talked about with host... the charge is $25 per 30 minute increments. Thank you for being respectful of the hosts and cleaners time.*

*There will be a Security deposit for $500 held against your card 48 hours before arrival. If no damage is reported by staff, this will be released 24 hours after checkout*

Important: All cancellations are subject to a non-refundable payment processing fee. For VRBO bookings, this is listed as an “administrative fee” and is calculated at 5.5% of the base rate to reflect the payment processing and integration costs incurred on the full reservation amount, including cleaning and tax charges. Across the street from the home is private beach access that is NOT designated for guest use. If guest(s) or anyone in their party trespasses onto this private beach, security deposit will not be refunded. There is public beach access just 2 miles from the home at Point Whitney.

- Please attend to all children when around the creek. Exploring the creek is at your own risk and with the understanding that you are responsible for any damage caused by your failure to ensure your safety and the safety of those in your party.

- Use of loft and latter is at your own risk and with the understanding that you are responsible for any damage caused by your failure to ensure your safety and the safety of those in your party.

-This home is on a septic system —please only flush the toilet paper provided and human waste. We also don’t have a sink garbage/food disposal, so please discard leftover food waste into the trash can.

-Because we keep our home sparkly clean for you, we kindly ask that you lend a helping hand. Clean any dishes used, put dirty laundry in hamper, you know the basic stuff... It helps keep the cleaning costs down for you and future guests.

-We`re keeping the floors clean for our guests, please no shoes in house.

-Accidents happen, when they do please notify us as soon as possible. This is the best way to ensure the return of your security deposit.

-No smoking is allowed inside the home. Guests who do so will be charged a cleaning fee of $500. Smoking is allowed outside but cigarette butts must be disposed of properly

-No illegal drugs allowed, it`s the law.

-Please be respectful of our neighbors. Quiet hours after 10pm and before 8am.

-Please help mother earth. Turn lights and accessories off; heat at 60 degrees when not in use.

-We are honored you decided to choose this house, however if your goal is to throw a party this is not the destination for you. This home is for registered guests only.

-Only use fire pit if you have adequate experience and know how to operate safely. Use of the fireplace, fire pit, is at your own risk and with the understanding that you are responsible for any damage caused by your use of the same. Please do not introduce unapproved items in the firepit – just firewood, kindling, matches, fire starters and Duraflame Logs.

-Local fire-ban ordinances must be observed with regards to the outside fire pit. Care must be taken to keep fires under control and to a reasonable size.

-PARKING – Parking is limited to 2 vehicle(s). Vehicles are to be parked property in front of home. Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.

-Please stay out of the storage areas. These areas are dangerous and not designed for guests.

-Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be removed from the home.

-We do not permit supplies, furniture, decorative items, appliances, and other furnishings to be removed from the home. Please leave the home as you found it.

-Storm: No refunds will be given in the event that a storm or severe weather conditions limits your accessibility or causes a power outage. We recommend all-wheel drive/four-wheel drive and/or chains during snowstorms. We do not refund due to road conditions; however, we will assess this case by case and are willing to compensate accordingly to make it fair for both parties.

-Check-out: Guests will be charged an extra $25 for late check out; check out time is 11:00am unless otherwise talked about with the host. The charge is $25 per 30 minute increment. Thank you for being respectful of the hosts and cleaners time.

- VRBO & Website Bookings: There will be a Security deposit for $500 held against your card 48 hours before arrival. If no damage is reported by staff, this will be released 24 hours after checkout.

-PERSONAL ITEMS: Please check the home for any of your personal items left behind. It is extra work for our cleaners to gather the items, take them to the post office and ship them. For any items left behind we are happy to mail them out however there will be a $50 charge to pay for our time.

License to Occupy Only; No Landlord-Tenant Relationship.
Guest acknowledges and agrees that this Agreement creates a revocable license to occupy the Property for transient lodging purposes only. This Agreement is not a lease, does not convey any real-property interest, and does not create a landlord-tenant relationship under any state or local law.

Primary Guest Responsible for All Occupants.
The individual who books the reservation (“Primary Guest”) hereby accepts full legal and financial responsibility for (a) themselves, (b) all other guests, occupants, invitees, visitors, or persons allowed onto the Property (“Additional Guests”), regardless of whether such persons have signed this Agreement. Primary Guest represents and warrants that all Additional Guests shall comply with all rules, policies, and terms of this Agreement. Any breach of this Agreement by an Additional Guest shall be deemed a breach by the Primary Guest.

Indemnification and Hold Harmless.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Primary Guest and all Additional Guests shall defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Owner, Property Manager, and their respective members, officers, employees, agents, and contractors (“Indemnified Parties”) from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, damages, losses, liabilities, fines, penalties, attorney fees, or costs arising out of or related to:
(a) Guest’s or any Additional Guest’s use or occupancy of the Property;
(b) violations of this Agreement or House Rules;
(c) personal injury, death, or property damage occurring on or about the Property;
(d) actions or omissions of Additional Guests, invitees, or third parties allowed onto the Property.
This indemnity applies even if only the Primary Guest executes this Agreement.

Responsibility for Unauthorized Guests.

    Exceptionally clean and well provisioned. Only complaint would be the size of the bed (full size?) and the mattress and pillows need to be replaced.

    The space is so cozy and so well designed. The hosts were kind and very quickly responsive to all of my questions. The location is perfect, right in the middle of a bunch of local attractions. The kitchen was the perfect size for cooking yummy meals and even baking homemade cinnamon rolls! We already can’t wait to come back for our next stay!

    My partner and I stayed here overnight for an event in Quilcene. It was an unexpected pleasure. We loved the little creek. The fire pit was a nice touch, but be sure to bring your own kindling. Perfect for two people. The bed was really comfy.
