Enjoy multiple groomed walking trails at Gordon Lodge just up the road, or build a campfire while overlooking the lakefront, with some of the best stargazing in the Midwest.

For active vacationers, it’s a quick drive to Cana Island, Ridges Sanctuary, Maxwelton Braes Golf Course, and Peninsula or Newport State Parks. Take a class in painting, pottery drawing, painting, and even glassblowing! There are endless restaurant and shopping options, and Door County’s only outdoor theater is just minutes away. Seasonal activities include apple/cherry/berry picking at the many local orchards, fall colors, endless festivals, and snowmobiling and cross country skiing. Take the ferry to Washington Island to explore, or book a fishing charter and catch your dinner!
