Yellowstone Riverbend Cabin - Waterfront + Wildlife! 3 miles from Gardiner!

We love staying at the cabins in this area and have done so for the past 5 years around New Years Eve. There is lots of wildlife all around the area, its got a good seclusion feel but yet still close to Gardiner and Yellowstone Park, and close to the Hot Springs. The views are amazing too. The cabin was cozy, warm, clean, and very comfortable. This is our first time with this host and the communication was great. :) I would have given 5 stars but the deposit was super high at $1500 which was about $600 more than the actual cost of renting the cabin and the holding of the deposit was pretty long. The info for the deposit is in the description and info of the posting which was very helpful so we were prepared for it. :) Other than that, it is a 5 start experience. :)

Beautiful scenery , nice cabin, great beds and linens. Everything we needed was there. Kitchen items were nice quality. Great quick communications as needed.

Pretty close to heaven on earth! My week-long stay at Yellowstone Riverbend Cabin was perfect. The best way I can describe the overall stay is simply magical. The cabin: clean, spacious, comfortable, great Wi-Fi, private, safe, thermostat-controlled propane stove provides a warm cozy ambience in the cooler evenings, kitchen is fully-equipped, a covered bench in the front of the cabin overlooking the grassy meadow with mountain views, covered rocking bench & table in the back of the cabin overlooking the Yellowstone River with mountain views. The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful, and safe. The host was amazing, from the communication to the seamless self check-in/out to helping me coordinate an extended stay and giving me local tips in real time, simply the best. And the best part, the wildlife. I woke up every morning to mule deer and elk grazing on all sides of the cabin and playing in the river while a bald eagle pair soared and perched in a tree above the river. Walking or driving about a mile north or south of the cabin along Old Yellowstone Trail Rd, I enjoyed multiple elk herds, each with 100 elk, pronghorn antelope herds, bighorn sheep, and mule deer. Grazing, playing, or bedding in the valley meadows or getting a drink from the river. I spent every night watching the rams battling. The magpie and raven calls fill the air. Beattie Gulch Trail is a wonderland, a walk from your front door. Yellowstone north entrance is 15 minutes drive. Go explore!

Great place to stay near the NW entrance to Yellowstone. This was the 3rd time we have been to Yellowstone and the 3rd time we have stayed here.

This home was the PERFECT location for touring Yellowstone Park! Enjoyed the view and the wildlife. The rooms were clean, and it was so nice to have a bath for each bedroom. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

The cabin was perfect.

The cabin was well appointed and had everything we needed. One evening we had some unexpected guests as a herd of about 15 elk grazed outside our front door! Proximity to the park was great. The only negative of the experience was the rough gravel road leading into Gardiner.

A few days day stay. House was excellent.

The weather was freezing ( -9F) at points but the cabin was warm and cozy - well equipped and perfect for a cold weather adventure. I think they did an excellent job with providing exactly what was required - super clean - friendly - and close to the park. Well done !

Took a quick trip to enjoy the warm fall. The cabin was perfect for our family and a great location. We loved having the river so close. We watched hundreds of elk walk along the river and bighorn sheep just down the road. Private bathrooms for each room worked really well to get everyone ready for the day. We would definitely stay again!

Absolutely fantastic place to stay this is our 2nd stay. We will be booking our trip in 2025 there again soon.

The stay at the cabin was excellent! There was wildlife outside almost every day. Very convenient to Yellowstone. The host was friendly and very responsive. Will definitely be a repeat customer!

This wonderful cabin presented memories far beyond anything we could have anticipated. It checked off all the major requirements for a special stay. Was it clean upon arrival? Absolutely! Was it stocked with everything we could possibly need? A+ on that account! Did the owner quickly get in touch when we had questions? ALWAYS! It was beautifully decorated and beds/couches and chairs were more than comfortable. We had intended to spend 5 nights here. Like all the other places we have stayed on our western trip, we wanted to get out before sunrise, leave for the day and come back around dusk. But just the initial drive into the cabin's location provided scenery that left me stunned and the repeat drives out and back in did the same. There were always subtle changes in the early morning light and likewise in the evening. Once at the cabin, the first time I walked out onto the back porch, I was amazed again. In the evening, there was an undeniable peace with the sound of the river running below and the occasional elk bugle in the distance. One evening there was enough light to see a small herd of elk moving across the river. Before long that herd was eating grass off the back lawn, about ten yards from the porch. We all watched quietly has the herd moved up from the river and slowly crossed in front of us and eventually out of sight to our right. Certainly, this will never be forgotten by any of us. I would stay HERE again in a heartbeat!

Riverbend Cabin was a spectacular start to our Yellowstone vacation. The cabin was extremely well stocked (more than we ever expected), beautifully decorated, and the views were breathtaking! Clean,quiet,comfortable with a beautiful view of the mountains and river with the added bonus of elk in the backyard.Convenient to Gardiner and North entrance. Off the beaten path but worth it.Will stay again
