Everything was as listed. Kitchen area stayed warm, so running the extra fan in there helped. Beautiful view.

We loved this property! The house had all of the conveniences and was delightfully located with great views of the river and mountains. We did have to open windows at night to sleep. It was fine with the cooler fresh air. We would recommend and come back.

Great place pretty close to the north entrance. It got warm in the house but we were able to open the windows and it was nice. Great view of the mountains and quiet even though the highway was close. We would definitely stay again! The check in process and communication was great.

The red barn had everything we needed for a great stay! One of our best experiences was hiking to the OTO ranch, less than a half mile from the barn….a much bigger elk herd than what we saw in Yellowstone, and the ranch itself was very interesting.

Plus- Pretty area, close to Gardiner and Yellowstone. Owners care about the area and wildlife. Negative- beds not comfortable, it was hot and we couldn't turn off the radiant heat? We texted the # in guest book but no response. Kitchen needs a good cleaning. Cabinets sticky and dusty. Appliances in bad shape. Oven missing a knob and note saying don't use, refrigerator/frezer not cold enough.

Absolutely wonderful! At night you could hear the river and the elk across the way along with the horses! Far enough from town but only a 15 minute drive to the Roosevelt Arch! Great dining in the area and very convenient. I would like to have had access to the top balcony, but it was being remodeled. Otherwise the house was top-notch!

This house was a wonderful place to use as a home base for our adventures in Yellowstone. We enjoyed the peace and tranquility instead of staying in a busy town. We could truly relax and enjoy each other's company. Would definitely stay again!

We had a pleasant stay at this spacious and easy-to-find property. It offers most of the essentials for a comfortable visit. Some of our family stayed at a different place, but we were all able to get together here for breakfast and dinner without feeling cramped. There is a nice outdoor area where you can watch Elk across the field. The beds are on the firmer side, but generally comfortable, though the lower twin bunks could use updated mattresses or thick mattress pads, as the springs were noticeable. My sister opted for the couch as they were too uncomfortable which is why I marked it down a star. The kitchen is well-stocked with a variety of spices, though there was no coffee or pepper during our stay. The pans are easy to clean. We didn't come across any all-purpose cleaning spray, but it’s possible we may have missed it. They do not provide any laundry detergent, so bring your own. The shower had strong water pressure and got hot quickly. Plenty of towels and extra blankets were available, which was a nice touch. Another convenience was the clearly designated spot to put full trash bags. Very helpful during our stay.Overall, it's a functional and roomy place with some thoughtful amenities!

This property was definitely worth the amount that we paid. It was spacious and gave the three of us plenty of room to unwind after hiking however, my only suggestion would be to replace some of the furniture, especially the mattresses as they were not good quality and after hiking 10 hours, it wasn’t a great sleep. However, the price was worth the value of the property.. the owner of the property left us alone and we did not actually see them however, prior to check-in I did send them a message with some questions and it never got responded to.

Our family of 7 (5 adults, 1 child and 1 infant) plus our 2 dogs had a wonderful time here. There was plenty of space to spread out and the living room was comfortable for spending time with each other. We had a great vantage point of the Yellowstone River and watched bull elk gather their harems every night. The home is decorated beautifully with many pieces of one-of-a-kind stained glass art. My grandkids enjoyed sitting in the grass beneath the elm tree in the afternoons. The communal pool is located at Yellowstone Hot Springs, a great place to visit if you have time. We spent a lot of time in Gardiner and Yellowstone and this was a great place to call home base for a week!

The house is very charming. The view is amazing. The owners very responsive. Our trip was to go to Yellowstone Park and the house is in a perfect location. My suggestions to make it even better is to put some comfortable chairs in front of the house. The view is so amazing that we spent more time outside that inside of the house and definitely what they offer is not comfortable at all. However, if I have the chance to to back to that aérea I will rent it again. Highly recommended.

Fabulous rental! Close to the Park and beautifully decorated. Hosts are nice people to engage with if you choose, but extremely respectful of your privacy as they live close to the cabin. Stayed here several times and always look forward to returning!

Two friends shared this 3 bedroom home for 3 nights. It is a short 10 miles north of Gardiner and we used it as a base of operations to explore the northern section of Yellowstone. It had everything we needed and was exactly as described. Communication with Elenor was excellentexce
