The home is situated on a 1.24-acre property in a quiet neighborhood of half a dozen homes. It is constructed of 14-inch diameter hand-peeled logs, creating a cozy and rustic lodge atmosphere. The deck offers a 220-degree view of the lake, unobstructed by houses and framed with attractive hand-peeled log railings.

Roxane's favorite thing is sitting on the porch with a cup of tea and listening to the water peacefully lap the shore.

Ponds are frequented by wild ducks and geese. The beautiful mountains of the Grand Tetons are visible in the distance. Mountains on both sides of the lake frequently are topped with snow in May, September and October, and the occasional summer storm.

The picturesque view of Henry's Lake and the Rocky Mountains make up the continental divide.

An outdoor BBQ grill and outdoor seating are provided, where you'll enjoy quality time with friends and family.

A 55-inch smart TV is installed. We have black-out curtains in every room, updated in 2024.

A 2017 remodel provides each of our four bedrooms with its own bathroom and shower. Photo of floor layout at the end of photos.

This is a great fishing/sightseeing/shopping vacation. It is situated on Henry's Lake, one of the finest trophy still-water fisheries in North America.

Locals catch and release many trout a day using wet fly techniques from a boat or float tube.

Waders are helpful for fishing from the shore in May, September, and October. Cool temperatures allow the fish to come closer to shore.

Because there are 3 streams feeding into the lake on either side of the home, paddling a float tube back and forth in front of the home at sunrise and sunset can provide a great yield of fish.

Henry's Lake has abundant populations of Cutthroat, Brook, Rainbow and trophy hybrid Cutbow (Cutthroat/Rainbow) trout.

The largest fish in Henry's Lake are the rainbow/cutthroat hybrids that tip the scales up to 16 pounds. The state record for brook trout weighs in at 7.2 pounds and was caught in Henry’s Lake.

The home has a private marina nearby with a boat launch available for your use. A boat rental company, Wild Rose Ranch, is five minutes away.

You can fish the nearby blue ribbon Madison River, Henry's Fork of the Snake River, Hebgen Lake, and Quake Lake within a 30 minute drive or less. Yellowstone Lake is 1.5 hours away, inside the Park, where there are no limits on delicious Lake trout, considered invasive.

You'll enjoy returning to this lovely, quiet log home after a busy day exploring Yellowstone National Park.

The large lawn is well maintained and the owner provides sports equipment for outside activities. The back deck has a BBQ grill and outdoor seating.

You'll enjoy quality time with friends and family with gorgeous views of Henry's Lake and the mountains on each side. Relax and unwind as you take in the peace and quiet. The lakeside firepit will make forever memories in the evenings

Surrounded by Targhee National Forest, the property is visited by elk, deer, moose, a red fox, and a resident muskrat. Ducks and geese frequent the property's ponds, while local osprey and bald eagles cruise the shoreline, providing excellent bird watching.

Coyotes and owls can often be heard at night outside the house. The latest hatch of goslings and ducklings are fun to watch as they eat the backyard grass and dandelions in the spring. A glimpse of a short tailed weasel can be seen in the spring, controlling the local mouse population.

You will love the custom western decor with its attractive hand-peeled log furniture, dining table, chairs, and rustic aspen beds. The living room has a beautiful oak floor with three comfortable leather couches, seating for 9, situated around a 55 LCD flat screen TV with satellite service, Digital Video Recorder (DVR) and DVD player with surround sound.

The white tail deer on the walls add to the rustic charm. The adjoining kitchen features a large stainless steel refrigerator, microwave, gas stove, and dishwasher.

It is fully equipped with anything you might need to cook, from a steak dinner to a crock pot meal. We take pride in stocking our kitchen as if it were our own home, flours and sugars and spices, always with your comfort in mind.

The large dining room offers magnificent views of Henry's Lake. It features an Amish wagon wheel chandelier with antique lanterns and a 10 person - 3 foot by 7 foot cedar dining room table. You'll enter the Trout Room (master bedroom) from the dining room. It has a queen size bed and fantastic views of Henry's Lake and the distant mountains.

The Elk Room has a queen size bed and a view of Saddle Mountain where elk can be seen migrating in the fall, in the early morning hours. Exquisite elk antler light sconces grace this room. A remodel in 2017 provided this bedroom its own bathroom and shower.

The Moose Room has a queen size bed and is located just off the living room under the loft. It has an adjoining full bathroom with a sink, tub and shower.

The log staircase in the living room leads to the Bear Room loft with a queen bed. This room is open to the living room. The adjoining bathroom has a sink, shower and toilet.

In West Yellowstone, visit the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center, where you can view grizzlies and wolves in a natural habitat. Or visit the IMAX theater with several nature-oriented films offered daily.

In Island Park you'll enjoy visiting Big Springs and Johnny Sack's cabin, which is the head-water spring for the Henry's Fork River. The Upper and Lower Mesa Falls in Island Park are also well worth a visit. These falls can be enjoyed closer than any others in Yellowstone.

We enjoyed our stay at this log home on Henry’s Lake. Roxanne was great to work with even when we had trouble with the electric door lock. She was quick to provide us with a solution. The house was great, and we enjoyed the views of Henry’s Lake.

Our stay was fantastic! The property is beautifully located along the lake and is also very conveniently located for seeing the different sights in the area. The view from the back deck was great on the sunny days and we had one rainout day but we’re perfectly cozy spending the day inside. I would highly recommend!

What a stunning view. This house was only 25 minutes from West Yellowstone entrance. We used the back yard for a few fun days of whiffle ball with 8 of us. Roxanne was available if any problems arised. The only downfall are the bugs getting in the house when you open the door at night.

Yellowstone Log Home was a beautiful home with a beautiful view. Just a short drive into West Yellowstone Park and after a long day in Yellowstone, we enjoyed coming home and sitting on the deck enjoying the lake view. Plenty of space for all 8 of us. Roxane was very easy to communicate with and always responded quickly. Thank you for a great week.

This is a large home that was terrific for our group of 7 (4 adults and 3 kids). The house was roomy and in a lovely location on Lake Henry. We especially enjoyed the two pellet stoves which we used every day after our return from day-long springtime trips into wet, cold and at times snowy Yellowstone.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful log home on Henry’s Lake! The location is ideal: peaceful, private, and just a short, easy drive to the West Entrance of Yellowstone. It made exploring the park each day super convenient while giving us a quiet place to unwind afterward. The views from the cabin are absolutely stunning. Watching the sun rise and set over the lake each day was something we’ll never forget. We saw tons of birds throughout our stay, and the calm setting really added to the whole experience.Inside, the cabin was spotless, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed. There was more than enough space for our family of four. Each of us could spread out and have our own quiet time when we needed it, but there were also great areas like the big living room and wraparound deck where we could come together and enjoy meals or just relax. The host was responsive and thoughtful, and everything was exactly as described. This was hands down one of our favorite trips, and we’d absolutely stay here again!

Our group of 8 retirees had a great time, taking day trips to Yellowstone Park, Grand Teton and Beartooth Highway before coming home to the lake and cocktails on the deck. Gorgeous view. A moose, 3 otters, geese, swans and more were practically in our front yard. Host Roxanne was extremely helpful and the house was immaculate. Would love to go back.
