Stayed Oct 4, 2025Quiet setting in general. We enjoyed use of hot tub and views of night sky. Property was well stocked with towels, kitchen wares and pantry items. Only negative comment was all beds had dog or cat hair on top coverings and had to be laundered next day. Otherwise everything else was very clean. West Virginia is beautiful and a special place to make new memories.

Stayed Oct 11, 2024This home was chosen as our Blackwater Falls area trip. The home was spacious and provided a great master suite and ample additional bedrooms. The outdoor space was very nice that allowed a great fireplace and hot tub.

Very clean and well appointed. My favorite part was the outside area. It was spectacular!! Dining on the upper deck. Relaxing by the fire or in the hot tub on the lower deck. The only downside was that the three nights we had booked weren't long enough!We enjoyed horseback riding at Mountain Trail, swimming at Canaan Valley Resort and mini golf at Almost Heaven.Sirianni's for pizza, Hellbenders for burritos, Stumptown Ale and the lounge at the Billy for adult beverages and of course ice cream! We've already booked Hearthside for long weekends in September and October. This is a house we will return to again and again!

We were all in for our wedding. The location is convenient to everything that we needed in Davis or Thomas. The back decks were so relaxing and fun. The hot tub was a huge hit to my 18 year old. It is beautifully decorated and furnished. There was plenty of space for everyone. When family came over the yard was perfect for yard games and hanging out. The kitchen is fully stocked. I highly recommend staying here.
