Wrap-Around Deck | San Juan Views | Secluded | Air Conditioning STR2025-045

Property was a little older than we expected and we booked fully realizing that it did not have air conditioning. That being said it was very hot the week we stayed and the bedroom was at 84 degrees at 10pm even with the windows open. I wouldn’t recommend taking a trailer to this property due to the driveway that turns downhill.

Loved the location and the property in general. Would have liked more clear communication in advance on check-in and check-out requests. Host was quick to answer any questions though. Do NOT use Google Maps to get you to this address. The directions provided by the Host will get you to the correct place. (We didn't realize they weren't the same until afterward). There is no animal safe trash onsite, the downstairs light must stay on to use the ceiling fan, and the swamp coolers need frequent water refills. All of which can be a bit of an inconvenience. Overall though the place was clean, the house was well stocked with paper products, linens, toiletries, kitchenware, etc. We enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay here again.

Just capped off a 2-week stay here and loved it. Great views, convenient to Ridgway and Ouray and felt like home.

We had everything we needed in the kitchen and throughout the home and our kids (ages 2 and 4) really appreciated the books and toys available. I saw complaints about not having enough consumables, but that wasn’t our experience. We were there for 4 nights and had what we needed for the 4 of us!

This was our second time staying here. It’s in a great location close to town but also secluded and quiet. Check in was easy and received a couple texts during the week just checking to make sure things were good. Will definitely stay here again.

We just got back after spending a week at this beautiful home. The neighborhood is quiet and the views are gorgeous! The home is well stocked and very clean. In the morning we’d wake up and have coffee on the deck and look at the trees, wildlife, and “our” mountain. After spending the day out and about we’d return in the evening for a glass of wine and stargazing on the deck. The location can’t be beat, we will absolutely be back!

The property was great and we had a great stay, but we were lacking some details for check in. When we first arrived, we entered on the wrong side of the house. The front door along with parking was on the other side of the house, off of Elk Ridge Trail. There was also enough space to park an F150 and a 14 foot trailer, but it did require that we unhook and reconnect it to turn around. Other than this, our stay was perfect.

Place is nice and quite. Only draw back is if you have a trailer. Overall very nice place to stay and would stay again if we visit again.
