Cozy Ranch House on 46 Acres w/ Spectacular Views

Host was very responsive. The views were spectacular! Mule deer came right up to windows and prairie dogs were in abundance! Very comfortable! Loved our stay!

Overall, this was a great place to stay and be relatively close to Telluride and Ouray. The views of the mountains were incredible and loved seeing the deer come join us on the property every evening. We were close enough to town to quickly grab food and supplies but distant enough to feel isolated.The cabin itself was cozy and had everything needed for a family of 7 (4 adults, 2 teens and 1 small child) to be comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and the cabin stayed quite warm for those cold nights. We had a little trouble getting in when we arrived but Jeremy was very quick to respond and rectify the lock issue, so no biggie.I would rate this a 4.5 stars if possible....the biggest challenges were the fact that there is not enough seating in the cabin for 7 people. There were always a couple of us that either had to sit on the floor or just be somewhere else. So, sitting together was difficult. The hot water heater is small, so again, taking hot showers must be strategic, which meant not everyone could take a shower the same morning/evening (especially after the small child took a bath). Also, this isnt a huge deal but definetley worth mentioning that half of the cabin has stone tile floor, which is probably great for keeping the cabin cool in the summer, but makes for very cold feet in the winter.Given the price point relative to significantly higher price VRBO options in Telluride, this is place definetely is worth consideration.

The description says it all!! Some of the most beautiful views of the mountains and you get to wake up to it every day, just outside several large panoramic windows! And a comfortable chair with ottoman is the perfect place to perch with your cup of coffee and enjoy the view. This cabin is well maintained and has pretty much everything you will need for your stay. It was very clean, well organized and the decor was spot on without being cluttered or overwhelming. Jeremy is the perfect host! He communicates very well, answers very promptly, accommodates special requests within reason, yet he is never intrusive. The only thing I feel that needs mentioning is that the rental house in the back is very close, but honestly, we only ever saw vehicles come and go and was never bothered by anyone. I cannot recommend this rental enough. In a perfect location about 10 miles outside of Ouray, a couple of miles from downtown Ridgway and about 30 miles from Montrose. So much to see in this area!

We had an amazing stay in Ridgway! The space was perfect for our family—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The location couldn’t be better, right between Ouray and Telluride, making day trips to both a breeze. Every morning we enjoyed watching elk right from the property, which was such a treat. The Wi-Fi was strong and reliable, and everything about the home made our trip easy and relaxing. Even the kids got a kick out of the Charmin high-quality toilet paper—it’s the little touches like that which make a place memorable! Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!

Our family enjoyed watching the wildlife on the property. The prairie dog town, the elk, birds an other animals made our stay such a joy. Not to mention the view and the attention to detail within the home. Thanks for sharing your place with some thanks folks. Would absolutely recommend others to stay at this location.

House was perfect, we had 4 adults and 3 children we had plenty of room. the house was perfect and well furnish.

Perfect home base for hiking and exploring. Very clean house and convenience to Ridgway restaurants. Great deck for grilling and just far enough off highway for quiet enjoyment of mountain views. Highly recommend.

This place was perfect for us. Alone and peaceful, but close to everything. The views were amazing. Well stocked and comfortable. The owner was very responsive and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

Let me tell you, this was such a special stay for us. We stayed for several days at this property while we eloped out in Yankee Boy Basin. Being able to come back after a day of exploring, open all the south-facing windows in the living room, and just marvel at the view of Mt Sneffels, Whitehouse Mountain, and the Mears Peak was really something we needed. We've been working hard for the last couple of years, so to finally have this chance to relax and slow things down - I couldn't have pictured a more perfect location to do so. The property is clean and tidy, all wrapped into a manageable space. The patio during sunset/sunrise is such a treat too - watching all the storms come and go during our stay was exactly what we asked for. We'll certainly be back in the future!

This house was perfect for our needs! Close to both ridgeway and ouray, yet it felt like we were fairly secluded. As nice as the house was, the view was the best part!

The house and location was great. Perfect location and closes to trails for riding are side by side and lots of parking for trailers . Would loved to have T V in bedrooms. Wonderful place to stay.
