Falcons Glen is a well-established, beautifully manicured, deed-restricted residential community of 87 single-family homes founded in 1994. It is uniquely located along the Flamingo Golf Course in Lely Resort, Naples, Florida, only 10 minutes from the beaches and downtown areas of both Marco Island and the City of Naples, as well as its municipal airport. A bit of history regarding Lely Resort...

Lely Resort is one of the premiere master-planned golfing communities in Naples, Florida. It was named after Cornelius van der Lely, a Dutch inventor. He bought 25,000 acres of undeveloped land in 1972. His vision was to develop a community with more than 10,500 homes. Today these 25,000 acres span Lely Barefoot Beach, Lely Golf Estates, Lely Country Club, Treviso Bay and Lely Resort.

Today's Lely Resort sits on 2,900 acres and boasts three Championship golf courses, the award-winning Players Club, a hotel for golfers and a wide variety of residential choices. It is bordered by Florida South/Western State College campus, South Regional library, Lely Elementary School and an emergency services building to the North, US 41/Tamiami Trail to the South, SR 951 to the East and St. Andrews Blvd. to the West. Several grocery stores and restaurants, two Walmart Super Centers and a Lowes store are close by.

Waterside Shops, an upscale, open-air mall featuring Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom's, Gucci, Cartier and many more fine retailers is about 20 minutes way. The two public courses - the Flamingo Island and the Mustang - were created by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and Lee Trevino. The 7,171 yard Flamingo course offers plenty of water challenges and sculpted fairways, lots of bunkering and tricky putting surfaces. It is visually very pleasing, the lakes and preserve areas make the most of Florida's natural beauty. The Mustang course is 7,217 yards and offers wider fairways. Twelve lakes offer beautiful settings. Golf Digest rated it 4.5 stars (out of 5) and rated the Flamingo course 4 stars. The Flamingo clubhouse is the starting point for both courses, offering a restaurant and lounge, pro shop and locker rooms. There is a practice range and short game and putting areas. The carts feature a Par View GPS system with helpful fairway and tee-to-pin information. The private Classics Course was designed by Gary Player. The course features serene fairways with plenty of challenges. Members enjoy a private clubhouse offering lunch and dinner.

The award-winning Player's Club opened in March 2005 and has over 2,000 members. The new lifestyle club concept turned out to be very popular. The club was completely remodeled in 2013 and expanded to roughly twice its original size. The club and its wonderful amenities truly create a resort, where it is easy to spend a fun-filled day. Two lagoon-style pools with waterfalls are surrounded by plenty of lounge chairs. Sport swimmers enjoy a separate Junior Olympic pool and the baby pool caters to the youngest members. The clubhouse offers a beautiful dining room, outdoor terrace dining and casual grill around the outdoor fireplace. The tiki bar is popular for its casual fare and doubles as a sports bar. The clubhouse also offers a billiards room, card room and computer center.

The fitness center was expanded to 6,000 SF and two fitness rooms add another 3,000 SF to this top-notch facility. The center features state-of-the-art cardio and weight machines, personal training, rehabilitation training and an array of fitness classes, saunas, steam rooms and locker rooms. The new spa offers skin care treatments, relaxing massages and manicures and pedicures. Thirteen state-of-the-art Har-tru tennis courts, including a stadium court with seating pavilion and the new tennis pro-shop serve a very active tennis community.
