Woodland Vacations Little Bear

The place was smaller than expected, but still a nice cozy cabin. Highlights were the hot tub and fire pit. There was a cute little beach, ice cream parlor, and chocolate shop just a short walk away. Definitely worth checking those places out! The walk was very easy and pedestrian-friendly as well. Overall, we had a very relaxing and fun time! Would definitely come back to visit the area again. Thank you for providing a welcoming stay for us!

Property was great! Everything you could ask for and the view from the balcony is great! Perfect distance to get to the area attractions Whiteface mtn. Lake Placid, Ausable Chasm. It was a great Vacation.

Place was as advertised. Great location to unplug and relax.

Stayed at this charming house rental for two nights to enjoy some snowshoeing and Lake Placid. Easy drive to the village. Hot tub was a nice ending to the day. Cozy, comfortable, and we all had a nice time?

Perfect spot for a weekend getaway

We loved our stay — quaint and cozy with such a nice cabin vibe. Only about 10 minutes away from Whiteface Mountain and you can’t beat the private hot tub. A great jumping off point to many activities (we visited in the winter but fishing and hiking access was within minutes as well). We will definitely back to stay in the summer!

The cabin could be ideal if it weren’t located so close to a surprisingly heavily traveled road. The traffic noise was obnoxious. There were some other easily resolved issues that should be attended to such as the missing screens for the front windows, the badly worn cookware, and the non functioning toaster. Install some closet bars to hang clothing , and mirrors in the bedrooms and some hooks in the bathroom for towels. The space was not very clean especially the staircase which was covered in sandy grit. We will not return.

Small cozy cabin that my wife and dog used to sleep in. We didn’t spend much time there because we were out hiking and walking lake placid. But view is nice and has everything you need for a short stay.

I stayed here with my fiancé to mainly see the mountains and get some fresh air from the city. Perfect spot if you need to see the white face mountain. It took us less than 3 minutes to drive there. Hot tub was clean and well kept. The patio has a great view also. Animals are allowed so if you do have an allergy it may not be the best place. I would still return because it was worth it.

This cabin was perfect for my wife, son, and I. We actually stayed in their other cabin next door last year, so we knew what we were getting, and once again, we were not disappointed! My family enjoys the hot tub & you can’t beat the view of Whiteface while you’re soaking in it. One more thing to mention- even the fire wood that was dropped off for us to use was amazing (dry, burned really well, and a lot of it!) …the owners brother brought the wood to us- very friendly. This whole family is born & raised in Wilmington, really hard working and well known in the community ….needless to say, we’ll be back! -Chris from Buffalo, NY
