Our cabin offers all the comforts of home, while also being off-grid and offering stunning sunset views. There is excellent cell reception, the kitchen is stocked with basic cookware, and the solar panels provide plenty of electricity. In the cooler months, the propane wall heater keeps the guest house cozy, and wood is available for purchase if you'd rather use the heating stove in the living room.

One bedroom offers a queen mattress, the other has two XL twin beds, and the living room sofa has a pull-out bed. There is plenty of space inside and out for relaxing and enjoying the scenic views and relaxing sounds of nature. (Located on 20 acres with access to 200+ acres of public BLM land for guests to explore!) Sit on the wrap-around deck with your morning coffee and watch the eagles swoop through the canyon! Or stay up late to enjoy the unparalleled starry nights.

We are conveniently located equidistant from both Helena and Great Falls, making this the perfect spot for a quick getaway, or an excellent base camp as you enjoy all that the Big Belt Mountains have to offer.

Located less than 3 miles off pavement, the cabin is situated in a close-knit community of seasonal and year-round residents on secluded 20+ acre lots. The roads are private dirt roads that are graded each autumn. Many guests feel most comfortable in AWD/4WD vehicles, particular if it has rained recently. Please drive slowly on the dirt roads, as there are a few sharp turns with limited visibility and steep drop-offs. Montana residents tend to tell us that they are great dirt roads for Montana, but some guests who have only ever driven on flat pavement have gotten a little nervous about the lack of guardrails. If you have any questions about the road conditions for your vehicle, or any questions that might help you determine your comfort level with the roads, please reach out!

It’s an incredible setting, with unparalleled views. Cabin is adorable, with every amenity you need, including filtered water. We would come back in a heartbeat.

Amazing property, great communication, and hosts bent over backwards to provide FireTruck Farms Soap to us. They even shipped back an item we forgot in our cabin. Amazing!!!

This was a great location for us to stay! We were able to find many day hikes throughout the Helena and Lewis & Clark National Forest areas. We hiked over 50 miles in 6 days with our furry dogs. The host were extremely accommodating.

We have been staying in the Cascade area in September for the last 8 years. Needless to say we love fly fishing. This was our first summer to be on top of the mountain and off grid. It was never a problem. We loved the wood burning heater when it was cold enough. The views here are remarkable. We took several walks, read, relaxed and fished. Upon arrival, Step and Mike greeted us with fresh eggs and even brought fresh tomatoes. It was perfectly wonderful!

The location of this house was by far the best part. Amazing views and feels very secluded. The house is basic and off the grid but has everything you need and beds were comfortable. Host was helpful and responsive.

We loved our stay in this mountain cabin. The views of the valley and surrounding mountains were beautiful. We enjoyed the loop hike on the neighborhood roads with our pup every morning. We ate in every evening, and the grill worked perfectly. Even figured out how to use the French Press for coffee!! Yea us! The gravel road (last 2.5 miles) was in good shape, and the directions to the cabin were excellent. Tony and Mike were extremely responsive and helpful. A great stay to start off our adventure in MT.
