This a beautiful spacious home that we have enjoyed for our family Thanksgiving two years in a row. It has all the necessities of home for the kitchen. The layout is perfect for large families with plenty of room to spare. The sun room was lovely and has incredible lake view. I also love the fireplace. The host is very quick to respond to any needs. I highly recommend this home! We look forward to coming again!

As we have stayed at the “Dock Holiday” house now for the past 4 years, this vacation home fits our family needs well! We appreciate the good communication with the owners and the home is in excellent shape, well equipped, and cleanliness is good!

This was a very relaxing stay. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. Kept out boat at the dock and used it daily. The host communicated quickly and effectively. We would certainly book again!

Property was awesome clean and plenty of room and the lake view was amazing. We hope to stay there next year when we come back to town.

This property is wonderful for family gatherings. We had our Thanksgiving dinner with family here. It is a beautiful, spacious home that is warm and inviting with fantastic sun room for beautiful views of the lake. The fireplace is a lovely touch. I appreciate the workspace in the kitchen for remote work during our vacation. I can’t say enough about the location and communication with the host was great! I highly recommend this lovely home!

Carpets need cleaning. .

This was a quiet, comfortable place to be during a few days filled with a flurry of wedding activities.

Property was fine for our family wedding.

The first thing we immediately noticed when we walked in was a very strong, musty smell that permeated the house. Then go downstairs and the smell was even worse. I understand that we were next to water, but there was no de-humidifier to get rid of the excess moisture, nor were there any fans to circulate the air. The house was not very clean with cobwebs and spiders all over the house and to top it off, a hornet or wasp was circling the fan in the main room. We DID NOT leave any windows or doors open, and did not use the dock or outside area at all. Then there was no extra toilet paper anywhere in the house, and we were left to fend for ourselves when the last of it ran out. The downstairs bathroom had ringworms all over the sink, and we have video showing as much that has been submitted as this may have been one of the worst offenses of the home. Lastly, the neighborhood was VERY QUIET, which was explained in the guide book. If you are on vacation and looking to have some fun past 9pm, I would look elsewhere as this is not the place for you. We were not a howling at the moon group either, but did want to have a cocktail on the back deck/dock after the day. Then to top it off due to the location from Knoxville airport, our Uber canceled on us last minute, which apparently happens all the time. So you’ve been warned. We were not, and getting a taxi or the like on a Sunday is impossible.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The hosts were very gracious and responsive and the home itself was beautiful. Clean, right on the lake and in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Would definitely recommend and stay there again!

We had a lovely stay at Doc Holiday house! Nestled in a quiet cove at Tellico lake you’ll enjoy peaceful mornings and even quieter nights! The walk to the dock is 74 steps with areas to rest along the way if need be. The dock has a small table ( no umbrella) but nice for a glass of wine or coffee. We rented a pontoon for the week which was delivered to us and enjoyed the lake! The house had all we needed although we had to scrounge around as things were not very organized in the kitchen ( no big deal). The house could use a second garbage can in the Garage- as it goes out Tuesday morning so it was already full from the last renters causing the garage to smell bad. Overall the outdoors could use some TCL to reduce the vines climbing up the trees to make it more visually appealing and save the beautiful oak trees- but this didn’t impact our stay. We’d stay again and the host was super responsive to our questions prior to rental! Plenty of room to spread out and we enjoyed the ping pong table several evenings!

The location was awesome! The owners were great and responded promptly to an issue with the ladder on the dock. The house could definitely use some up grades, but overall a fantastic vacation!

For the third year we have enjoyed a wonderful stay at this “home away from home!” The owners are so very responsive if an issue arises and the home is very clean! Great lake access!
