Wonderful home on the bay with private dock and pool, WiFi, washer/dryer

We absolutely loved everything about the house and the area. We will be coming back every year to this house. The dock and canal were so much fun for our kids to fish in.

The property could easily be 5*, but it’s not well maintained and poorly stocked. I almost gave it a 3*, but the layout and location are perfect. The furniture and appliances in the main house are nice.There were no washcloths in the bathroom when we checked. I went to Walmart and bought us some washcloths only to find out they had washcloths wrapped w/ the extra towels. It would’ve been much nicer if they would’ve had the full set of towels and washcloths, opened up and laid out in each of the bathrooms upon checkin. The hand soap in the bathroom downstairs had about a quarter of an inch of soap in it. So there wasn’t even enough to get through one day. Most units that I’ve stayed in have supplied a couple of bottles of water, a few snacks, coffee for the first morning. Just a few things to get you through that first night until you could get to the store. I found not having beach towels at the beach house was totally unacceptable. Packing beach towels in luggage to fly across the US something I have never had to do any vacation I’ve ever gone to. The unit looks like it hasn’t been painted for 10 or 15 years. The walls in a lot of areas are very dirty w/ chipped paint. I was concerned about using the game tables in the garage because the refrigerator that was in there was full of black mold. It was really nice to have the canoe and the pool noodles for the kids. The walk to the beaches two blocks. The toilet on the main floor was in such a small space it was not comfortable

One block from beach, loved the channel backing up to the house, swimming, fishing and canoeing! Very nice house!

Property was not clean when we got there. Children’s underwear left behind as well as cantaloupe and cake crumbs in the screened in porch. Floors were not vacuumed either.

We loved the house and location..really enjoyed how close the house was to the beach!! The boys loved the pool, canoe, and the game room. We will definitely come back ❤️

My family of 13 had an amazing time here. We were able to walk to the beach with our family ages 1 -65. Then come back and relax in the pool. Neighborhood was best and safe!! Would love to come back but property not available in August 2024. We’re hoping for a cancellation!! But would love to come back. House is a little dated. But otherwise suited our needs perfectly!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Seaglass Bay. However, an unfortunate incident happened when my son was walking on the front deck, and the weak boards gave way, and he fell halfway through the deck. Luckily, he only had some scrapes. However, we were afraid to use the deck after that, which was disappointing. A few boards were replaced, but we feel the whole deck should be replaced. The house does need some updating, but the location and layout is great. The back part of the house, including the pool is very nice.

Love the size of rooms, pool, dock (but needs a ladder). Bathrooms need a little update and screens loose and one screen missing in screened porch. Had a wonderful time. Worth coming back to!
