WONDERFUL 3 BEDROOM LAKEFRONT HOME WITH GREAT NEIGHBORHOOD PARK

This property was absolutely beautiful. The home itself was perfectly cozy, yet spacious. There was never a time during the visit where I felt like I was missing anything. Our host thought of so many extra details to make our stay welcoming and comfortable and was extremely communicative. I hope to visit again soon!

The house was beautiful & very relaxing. We definitely need to come back in the spring or fall to take full advantage of this cute little town.

We've stayed here a few times before, and we keep coming back, because we love it here! It's a nice quiet neighborhood, that's close to the shops and restaurents of charming downtown Vermilion. The cottage is very spacious and has spectacular views of the lake from most windows! Kate was a great host, and responded quickly to questions.

This is a perfect house for a lakefront getaway! Comfortable, well stocked with anything a guest might need, from dishes and kitchen utensils to a varied library to a huge selection of games (including a pool table) to shampoo and hand soap. But the best quality was the proximity to the lake with clear views from many windows and a lovely, tree lined backyard with several seating options, including a swing right on the edge of the property overlooking the lake. Certainly a place to remember for future trips.

Nice home located directly on the lake. Plenty of room for friends. We booked because it was pet friendly and that can be difficult to find. Neighbors were friendly. It's a short drive to the center of Vermilion. Owners responded to questions in a timely manner. Over all great stay!

The view of Lake Erie was nothing short of spectacular. From the large windows at the back of the house to the Adirondack chairs by the lake the view was great. Home very accommodating for the group. The homes decor is welcoming. We enjoyed the home immensely. I would recommend this home for a family, or a group of people.

We had another great stay here, now the 3rd time we've stayed. The house is always clean and Kate is always responsive to any questions. Wonderful home to stay in and a wonderful owner! Thank you again Kate!

We were in town for my daughter’s graduation from Oberlin but Vermilion is a nice change of pace. Cute town with just enough amenities. Cafe and candy shop are great. Kate’s house is well maintained and laid out so that six people have nice places to gather but can still enjoy some privacy if desired. Kate was very helpful. Check in was super easy.

I live less than 10 miles from the cottage but wanted a place where I could spend a few days with my sisters, brother in-law and husband. This was a great place for a winter retreat. The cottage was so cozy and had everything we needed. We watched movies, played games, worked puzzles and took advantage of the pool table. The bank of windows gave us a great view of the lake and we enjoyed watching ducks, birds and squirrels come to the feeders on the property. Kate was a terrific host and bent over backwards to insure our visit was perfect. The cottage is perfect for our winter getaway.

Spending five days nestled by the lake, sharing a Thanksgiving together here was wonderful! The home is well equipped for cooking and relaxing!!

It was perfectly described so no surprises. Great amenities and the breakfast danish provided by the host was such a sweet touch Beds were ridiculously comfortable, plenty of towels and very spacious.

Cleaner than any hotel! We are OCD clean freaks and this place exceeded our standards in most ways! The beds were unbelievably comfortable. The view was just lovely and perfectly relaxing. I took my 85 year mother, who’s had both knees replaced and 2 back surgeries and she was so comfortable on the first floor. Excellent lighting with nightlights everywhere needed. The bathrooms were beautiful and clean! The host and her husband popped in a few days into our stay to pickup sticks after windy days and were so welcoming. The shelves and drawers were stocked with puzzles games and all kitchen and bathroom basics. Just opt for a season without midges! ?

Great stay, weather was a tad sucky but we had a great time.

The owner told us to just bring a toothbrush and toothpaste. We thought she was joking but that was truly all we needed. It’s a beautiful place and being on the lake is awesome.

Can’t say more than everyone else has commented. Kate was wonderful to work with. House perfect. Everything you would need. Location great. Ruth’s little grocery store across street has plenty of stock. Friendly people. Many of the places Kate recommended to eat we checked out and were not disappointed. Book your stay!

Views were amazing, neighborhood quiet. Master bedroom was well appointed and comfortable. Loved having two tables inside the home, and, of course, more tables outside for extra seating and room for board games and puzzles. Fully equipped with all the accessories of home. As a senior I would suggest a few helpful add-ons upstairs; mirror in each bedroom upstairs to eliminate bathroom congestion and blinds in one bedroom that doesn't currently have them. Bathroom: a shower caddy, and perhaps a folding, portable shower chair for ease of transition for older family members. Either lower shower curtain or purchase a weighted curtain so it doesn't billow out while showering; this would prevent water from going on the floor outside of the shower. Very minor upgrades will only improve this very lovely home. Special home and I will return in the future. Tranquility at its finest.

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home situated right on the shores of Lake Erie. We just sat in the breeze and the sun and soaked up the peace. The home was clean and generous in size. We had family visit and they all loved it. Thanks for the memories. We will hopefully be back.

We had a great experience. Neighbors are friendly, the backyard view of Lake Erie is great. Close to town if you need anything. Good hosts.

We loved our stay! It exceeded our expectations. Being on the Lake was exactly what we needed. The place was comfortable and pleasant in every way. We could gather together for a meal and quiet conversation. Our favorite thing was to sit outside in the morning and evenings watching the sun and the wind play upon the water. The bird watching too was so much fun: ducks, cardinals, blue jays, woodpeckers, bald eagles, herons! The place was uplifting and restorative! It was a lovely retreat in between our daughter’s college graduation events, and great for much needed relaxation post graduation. We feel so fortunate to have found this great gem of a place!
