WineDown PorchHouse: BoHo Glam

Booked this a couple months out for last day of school/memorial day weekend - this is our third time hanging in Rockport for a Texas beach getaway. We've stayed in a hotel, a stilts house as my kids call it, and now this - and this property is my favorite by far! As a country boy at heart, I appreciated the physical location being out just a tad from the city itself. The 5 -10 drive in to the Rockport beach, the Ski Bay Donut Shop, the HEB or whatever restaurants was perfect. I loved the small ranch vibe it has going on. The property itself was just as described, amenities and all. The kids spent a significant amount of time outside exploring around the cleared area and having fun shooting some rubberband guns from Ace Hardware we picked up on the way in. Grilled out several times for lunches and dinners, loved the big grill setups they have, quite sturdy and well engineered! The front porch was used a lot in between beach trips and at night feeling the breeze was wonderful feeling, I loved to just sit and listen to the wind blowing through the live oak trees. The bedroom setup was epic. The kids loved having their own bunks and it was crazily sturdy built. Elle was super easy to communicate with, and always responded within a few minutes of me reaching out. We didnt need anything while we were there, but I am confident if we did she would have handled it quickly! I'll likely be checking out the other listing when we come back down for some fishing trips!
