Windmark Family Retreat | Pool | Dual Living Spaces | Sleeps 10

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful, well-equipped, pet-friendly house just steps from the boardwalk to the beach. It had everything we needed and provided a great lay out to accommodate two families with sufficient privacy, separate TV/living rooms, and all the kitchen gear needed to make family meals. I especially appreciated the fenced back yard (so that we could let the dog out easily) and the pet-focused accomodations. The house was conveniently located steps from the resort pool and was just a lovely boardwalk stroll to a quiet, natural, dog-friendly beach. And it came with a credit for beach gear that came in super useful, especially when loaded onto the beach trolley provided. I will definitely stay here again!

Great house and great location. Does need more towels. Two per bathroom was no where near enough. Will definitely stay here again.

We loved this property. The location was perfect with the proximity to the pool, the ability to walk out the door straight to the pool was great. The inside was spacious and clean and the large table was nice for sit down dinners. The neighborhood was new and close to everything.

This was a wonderful, well appointed home that had everything we needed to make our time there memorable. The attached suite was perfect for our family. It was obvious that much thought and care went into trying to anticipate the guests needs. It was the simple things that made the home special. We loved the different games and there were plenty of beach towels and beach gear. The home is directly across the street from the pool. The pool was a huge hit and much needed alternative to the beach. (I’ll say more about that later.). We encountered a couple minor issues but the rental company and owner were quick in their response and made sure we had what we needed. They went above and beyond! Now the beach…. There is a short boardwalk off the pool area that goes towards the beach. Unfortunately it only goes to the edge of the property. It does not continue to the beach. We found it extremely arduous to navigate the walk to the actual beach area. We had 5 adults and two small children and all the gear needed for a day at the beach. Even those who were in good shape found it to be hard walking through the terrain. With carrying children and dragging beach carts full of gear, it was almost too much and sadly limited our time spent on the beach. That in and of itself would keep us from going back to the area. It would be our recommendation that Windmark put in a wood boardwalk directly to the beach to alleviate this issue.

Loved all the pet friendly amenities, proximity to the beach. The place is charming and comfortable.

Great new house that is right across the street from a spacious well-maintained community pool and a short walk to the beach. Nice location on windmark beach between St Joe Beach and the town of Port St Joe. House was clean and well stocked with kitchen supplies and games. We very much enjoyed our stay!
