Loved this place so much we stayed here again and will be back. Can’t say enough great things. November 2022

... wonderful host. The property was beautiful and spotless, communication was clear and prompt, and the location was ideal. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay! September 2021

Comfortable space and a property that’s tucked away in a little slice of the suburban woodlands of Portland Maine. Also, convenient access to notonly Portland, but a variety of beaches around the immediate outskirts.... (the host) clearly has a passion for ensuring you’re comfortable during your entire stay. Overall, a pleasant experience.... August 2021

Host was excellent, even thinking of bug spray, yoga mats, binoculars, and extra blankets. We loved our stay!

This cabin is located near Portland and has easy access to multiple places in Maine. The beauty is you feel you are secluded and away from the city. The property is quiet, beautiful and peaceful. The host was great and quick to respond.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a week, and it was great! John was incredibly communicative and responsive, the place was as nice as advertised, and we had a lovely week hanging out and going into Portland to get good food. Highly recommend!

Probably one of the cleanest rentals we have ever stayed in. Everything we needed kitchen was also well equipped. We headed out daily to a new adventure. Five Islands Lobster house, cabbage island clam bake,Kennybuckport, Cgonquait, and Becky’s diner among many other places just a delightful trip. John is very knowledgeable and helpful. Thanks for everything.

The property is lovely, the accommodations very clean and all the needed amenities were provided. The place is quite adorable, but not for 4 adults. The pullout sofa was not comfortable for 2 adults and we had to use 2 blow up mattresses for 3 of the 4 nights, which were in the way during the daytime. There is no air conditioning, and only two windows in the living room and two in the bedroom, that open. No cross ventilation, and no ceiling fans to keep air flow. So it was very hot and stuffy. Cooler temps would have been welcomed. Also, I would recommend that the homeowner do something to improve the lighting in the place, because it is very dark, daytime and evening. When my son came over in the evening to visit (he's 46 years old), the homeowner came out to the bonfire and wanted to know who the extra people were and then he informed us we had to let him know before we had any visitors......it put a damper on the time away, which we were so looking forward to. We were also told to turn down the fire, which was well within the confines of the firepit. We are 4 adult women in our 60's who certainly are capable of handling a firepit, after checking a water source, just in case! I highly recommend this place for two adults, and maybe one small child.

House was very clean and comfortable, very well appointed, and close enough to all we wanted to do. John was a gracious host and very responsive to minor questions. Would definitely return for a stay as it’s close to my son and much nicer than a hotel room. Thanks.

We enjoy a quiet stay outside the city. But at the same time, easy access to Portland, Kennebunkport, great restaurants, groceries, etc. John was quick to respond to questions and helpful with suggestions.
