Stayed Jul 24, 2023We were trying to escape the Florida heat and bring our elderly dog to an area where she could get some exercise and we could all escape the heat! We found the perfect spot to accomplish this at the Wildwind Cabin. The scenery could not be more breathtaking, the yard for the dogs, as well as the close proximety to the Boone Greenway provided us with sohe much needed outdoor time in comfortable weather. The town of Boone was quite lovely although a bit crowded for our tastes. We explored the area and found ourselves in Blowing Rock several times. It is quite remaniscent of Carmel California... Would definately stay again - the host Jorganna, is indeed a super host. Excellent communicaton and care!

Stayed Jan 13, 2023Lovely well-kept home! Plenty of space for a nice family reunion. Great loation...but in winter will certainly require the right vehicle to get up the drive to the top. Communication with the host was prompt and easy. Would recommend and would choose to return in the future!

Stayed Dec 21, 2022We got a chance to fully enjoy every aspect of the house given that we were snowed in for two of our five days there. Even with some power and water blips due to the snowstorm, the host was communicative and gracious. The space was large enough for four couples to have some solo time but welcoming when we were all together. Well stocked kitchen, too! All in all a great house and if we had to be housebound, it was a lovely place for it. (Bonus for the super cute Christmas decorations that greeted us!)
