It was fabulous, property was very well equipped and had everything we needed.Was in a peaceful location with no nearby neighbours. Two towns close by, car needed.Owners fantastic with knowledge and communication throughout!The house and pool and outdoor kitchen were beautiful and I'm only sad that I'm still not there!Highly recommend fir a get away from it all and explore the surrounding areas.Thank you for a wonderful stay :)

Amazing place! If you like peace and quiet, it is the place to go.Spacious, beautiful and great value.We loved the outdoor kitchen and specifically the gas grill.Highly recommended.

We stayed with our two sons aged 16 and 18 in July. We were greeted by wonderful hosts Juan and Inma who showed us around the house and gave good instructions about using the facilities and access. The car parking space with shade from the sun is bonus. The house is very clean and beautifullly decorated and furnished with an abundance of homely charm throughout. The AC in the three bedrooms works perfectly and made sleeping comfortable on the very warm nights. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you'd need. Outside there is lots of space to sit, dine together and relax in the sunshine or shade. The garden is full of fruit trees with shady spots to sit and enjoy the peaceful location. We used the pool everyday to cool off, swim and play games. Deep enough to jump into and have fun together. The spacious veranda, with views down the valley, is perfect to sit and watch the sunrise over the distant mountain tops and in the late afternoon and evening it's ideal to relax in the shade. The mini-supermarket in nearby Albuñuelas is well stocked with essentials. There's also a small but very nice bakery in the town. The nearest big supermarkets are Mercadona and a new Lidl located next to each other in Nigüelas, which is a 20 minutes drive from the house. There are several nice places to eat and drink. We particularly liked Restaurante Los Naranjos in Melegís and Restaurante Garví terrace in Lecrín. Overall, it's a wonderful place to stay!

We had a wonderful 14 day stay at Juan and Inma’s lovely villa. On arrival, we were immediately struck by the friendliness of Juan and Inma and the tranquil nature of the environs. There was a perfect, panoramic view from every angle. The house itself is very well appointed, clean, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had everything that we needed. We were spoilt for choice for perfectly placed outdoor areas - dining areas, seating areas, hammocks, tyre swings and more! We really enjoyed the outdoor cooking and even enjoyed the refreshing out of season swim in the pool! The lemon and orange trees were blooming and we savoured the delicious fresh orange juice and lemonade. Stunning hikes in the Sierra Nevada National Park were accessed within a drive of an hour or so and the history and culture of central Granada only 35 minutes away. We would highly recommend the house, the location and the lovely hosts.

Stayed here for four weeks in October 2024. The property had everything you could possibly need and more. It was extremely clean and comfortable. The pool was cleaned weekly and the whole place well maintained. The outdoor area, including an outside kitchen, seating areas and garden means that in good weather it is possible to literally live outside.There is always the option for sun or shade somewhere in the garden so it suits all. Juan and Inma were never more than a phone call away and dealt with any issues promptly, although these were few and far between. The village and surrounding area are delightful. We would highly recommend a stay here and would not hesitate to return.

Juan and his wife were wonderful hosts. The house is lovely and private in a beautiful rural setting. Everything you could possibly need for your stay is there. The outside bar is a wonderful addition, especially in the peak of summer. All cooking utensils and facilities are there. There’s a lovely quaint village down the road with a couple of small supermarkets where you can find your essentials. We very much enjoyed our relaxing holiday and would definitely recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at the house. It is a bit in the middle of nowhere with great views. This is what we liked - to have as much as privacy as possible. We loved the garden, the pool and the outdoor kitchen with a second fridge and even microwave. Juan and Inma are very warm and welcoming people and helped us whenever needed. A car is mandatory to travel around. We can definitly recommend this property and we consider to come back again. Thank you again Inma & Juan!

This is a very tastefully decorated property, exceptionally well equipped. Different areas to sit during the day and evening. The host provided very good instructions on how to locate the property. When we arrived we received a warm welcome and full briefing on everything the house had to offer.

We enjoyed a 5 day stay at the property of Juan and Imna. The casa many little rooms and places to retreat if you like. We liked the outdoor kitchen and how it was equipped. The pool is not too deep and very clean. The bedrooms are under the roof and despite the warm outside temperatures the AC quickly cools the rooms to comfortable temperatures. Juan quickly responds to any question you have via email. The property is hidden from the street and is perfect getaway for anyone who likes a quite, relaxing time.

We spent a wonderful 6 weeks at Cortijo Luz de Valle. The house was very clean and very well equipped. We enjoyed the outdoor kitchen and the various outdoor sitting areas, some of which have great views of the Lecrín Valley. We also enjoyed the grapes and the almonds which were ripe during our stay. The best part is that you have total privacy on the property and no close neighbors. Our host Juan installed a pool cover, so the pool stayed very warm throughout our stay. He and his wife Inma prepared an outstanding paella for us, and they also brought delicious tapas. We cannot thank them enough. The Lecrín Valley has lots of hiking trails, and if that is not enough there are hundreds of miles of hiking trails in nearby Los Alpujarras and the Sierra Nevada. The coast is only 45 minutes away, and you can find great snorkeling around the rocks at Playa La Rijana and at El Peñon in Salobreña.
