Welcome to White Sands, your perfect Cooks Beach escape! This modern, easy-living holiday home is set on a flat, sunny section just a short stroll from the beach. Sleeping up to 8 guests, it’s ideal for families or friends wanting to unwind and enjoy a classic Kiwi getaway.

Step inside to a bright, modern, open-plan living area that flows out to the spacious, covered deck. There's plenty of outdoor seating, a Weber BBQ, and an outdoor fireplace for those long evenings under the stars.

The large, flat section allows plenty of room for outdoor games and boat parking, while the garage features a table-tennis table — perfect for a bit of friendly competition. The table can easily be folded away if you prefer to park a vehicle inside.

You’re in a fantastic spot — just a short walk to the beautiful Cooks Beach, local parks, and reserves. The boat ramp is nearby for a day out on the water, and you’re only a few minutes’ drive or ferry ride to Whitianga for more cafés, restaurants, and shops. Closer to home, grab an ice cream or coffee from the local Cooks Beach General Store.

We had such a lovely stay here and genuinely enjoyed every part of it.The house is spacious and really comfortable. We stayed as two families and, even with everyone together, it never felt crowded or overwhelming. There was plenty of room for both adults and kids to spread out and relax. The kitchen was very well equipped — we cooked most days and always found everything we needed. It was just as easy to make a quick breakfast as it was to put together a proper BBQ dinner, which we really appreciated. The garage with the table tennis table was a big hit. We ended up spending a lot of time there — it was one of those unexpected bonuses that made the stay even more fun.We travelled with three young children, and the house worked really well for families. There were toys available, which helped keep them entertained. The space in front of the house is open and generous — while it’s not fenced (so of course you need to keep an eye on little ones), it gave them lots of room to run around and play. There was also a great selection of board games. There were books available too, and the TV with Netflix made evenings easy and relaxed. This was our first time staying at Cook’s Beach. For years we had always stayed in Whitianga, but after this trip, we realised Cook’s Beach was absolutely the right choice for us. We’ll very likely stay here again in the future.Overall, it’s a warm, welcoming place where families can really settle in and enjoy their time.
