If you need anything during your stay at Bit O’ Honey, please don’t hesitate to reach out through the Airbnb messaging platform. We keep a close eye on messages and strive to respond quickly so you can relax and fully enjoy your mountain getaway.

Whether you have a question about the home, local recommendations, or need assistance during your stay, we’re here to help make your experience smooth, comfortable, and memorable.

Our goal at Bit O’ Honey is simple: to create a warm, peaceful White Mountains escape where guests can slow down, reconnect, and enjoy every moment, from mornings with mountain coffee to evenings by the fire pit or soaking in the hot tub beneath the stars.

The Bit O’ Honey is designed to be a peaceful White Mountains retreat surrounded by nature, mountain air, and the changing seasons. Because the home is located in a wooded mountain setting, guests may occasionally see ladybugs or other seasonal insects that naturally make their way indoors despite regular cleaning and maintenance.

The private hot tub is professionally maintained and available for guest use year-round. The outdoor fire pit is available for guests, but snow and winter weather may naturally accumulate in the fire pit area during the colder months. Shovels are available on-site for guests who would still like to enjoy fires during the winter season, weather permitting.

We hope you enjoy everything Bit O’ Honey has to offer —from cozy mountain mornings to evenings spent soaking in the hot tub beneath the stars.

Check-In

Check-in begins at 3:00 PM.

To make your arrival easy and stress-free, Bit O’ Honey features a secure keyless entry system. Hot Tub Rules & Safety

The hot tub is one of the signature experiences at Bit O’ Honey, and we work hard to professionally maintain it year-round for every guest to enjoy. To help us keep it clean, safe, and operating properly, we ask that guests follow these guidelines:

Please shower before entering the hot tub when possible.
No glass containers are permitted in or around the hot tub area. Plastic, acrylic, or metal drinkware only.
No food, oils, bath products, bubble bath, bath bombs, or soaps in the hot tub.
Please avoid entering the hot tub with excessive dirt, sand, lotion, makeup, or self-tanning products.
Children must always be supervised.
Please replace and secure the cover after each use to help maintain water temperature and cleanliness.
Use the hot tub at your own risk.

If the hot tub requires excessive cleaning, draining, refilling, or servicing due to guest misuse, excessive dirt/debris, prohibited substances, or damage during your stay, additional maintenance charges may be requested through Airbnb to cover the cost of restoring the hot tub for future guests.

Fire Pit Use

The outdoor fire pit is available for guest enjoyment and is a perfect way to end the evening in the mountains.

Please use caution while operating the fire pit and never leave fires unattended. During winter months, snowfall may naturally accumulate in the fire pit area. Shovels are available on-site for guests who would like to clear the area for use, weather permitting.

Please fully extinguish fires after use and respect any local fire restrictions or burn advisories that may be in place during your stay.

Check-Out

Check-out is by 10:00 AM.

Before departing, we kindly ask guests to:

Turn off lights
Lock windows and doors
Remove trash to the designated outdoor bins
Ensure the property is securely locked upon departure

There is no need to deep clean before leaving, our professional cleaning team will take care of the rest. We simply appreciate your help with the basics so we can continue creating a welcoming experience for every guest.

A Few Final Notes

Bit O’ Honey is located in a wooded mountain setting surrounded by nature and changing seasons. While the home is professionally cleaned and maintained, guests may occasionally encounter seasonal insects such as ladybugs or other harmless critters common to mountain properties.

We kindly ask guests to respect quiet hours and neighboring properties so everyone can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere that makes the White Mountains so special.

Dirty/stained rugs and carpets.Broken floor tiles.Water buildup around septic tank less than 10 feet from the property? All of the rest of the surrounding area was dry. Dirty windows and windowsills. Teflon frying pans were extremely damaged. Dirty/Stained comforter, looked like blood. Downstairs space is much smaller than it appears. The bed was very very comfortable. Lots of amenities, including a convection oven, air fryer, and a bidet. Has a neat feature where the upstairs window pulls out into a little balcony. Nice fire pit area. Great communication response time by owner.

My family spent a couple days at this charming cabin as described close to several ski resorts. Due to arctic temperatures and blasting winds we ended up spending more time inside the cabin than on the slopes. Nevertheless we had a great time and enjoyed our stay. The host was very pleasant and responsive. We would love to return another winter.

Small place but certainly does the job! Plenty of amenities, they even had a log for the fire pit. There’s also many kitchen appliances (spices included!!!) for a cozy dinner at home. Not to mention, there is even a heated toilet seat! The only problem we had was the heat. It’s gets plenty warm, but then doesn’t stop. It could have been user error and we did not ask about it so our own fault. Overall excellent stay!

The perfect night away! Thank you Kelly and Bill for being so attentive and helpful. The house was clean and even more beautiful and quaint than the pictures! The check in process was easy and Bill and Kelly were quick to respond to messages. The location was close to many restaurants, breweries and shops! Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend staying here!

When we first arrived we thought we had been scammed. Many cabins looked abandoned and or not cared for. We only found our cabin by process of elimination there was no visible number. Once inside the cabin was clean, cozy and comfortable. The bed was an absolute nightmare. It’s a full size bed with a mattress that you can feel every single spring in..
