White Mountains - Magnificent & Private Lakefront Lodge

First, the house is magnificent. The pictures on here don’t do it justice. The screened in porch, the giant kitchen, the whole house was perfect. The host has been phenomenal. She was so accommodating and she set us up for a perfect weekend getaway! The views were stunning with the water and mountains in the background! The canoes and kayaks were GREAT!!! The backyard was beautiful (but buggy) and very spacious! I recommend this property to anyone wanting to rent a house on the lake!

Amazing hosts, great location and house. Unlike many sterile, soulless Vrbos you come across, this is very much a loved and lived-in home - all the details that make a place feel good are present in spades. We had a mixed generation group of 8 folks and had ample space to be together (and separate when we wanted).

This is a wonderful house for a large family gathering and a wonderful location. All ages had a great time! One thing that should be corrected in the listing is that the queen bed (5'wide) is actually a full or double (just 4'6 wide). Since we didn't meet the owner or property manager, it would have been helpful to have more information available in the house - nearby restaurants and activities, location of the spare propane bottle for the barbecue, etc. The owner was quick to respond when I texted her with questions, but if there had been information sheets in the house I wouldn't have had to bother her.

From the stunningly beautiful house to the extremely well stocked pantry the house surpassed our expectations! The 11 of us (ages 5-mid 70's)had a wonderful time and took advantage of canoe and kayaks. My favorite spot was on the screened porch watching the hummingbirds and listening to the loons. Thanks for the clean, safe and spot for family to reconnect.

We stayed for five days with lots of family! So much to do for every age! The kitchen was one of our favorite parts and had such a great entertaining island! Plenty of space for everyone to sleep comfortably. Completely stocked with everything you could ever need! Our kids loved the game room!!! The lake view was absolutely stunning! Thank you so much for such a wonderful week at your cabin

Excellent place to get away!

The property was beautiful and had everything that we needed. Kayaks and access to the basically private lake made our stay so special. Hours on the screened-in porch during the day and game room at night entertained our group immensely. We all had a wonderful time at the lodge.

Great place for family vacation! There is no need to leave the property with the abundance of space and play - kayaks, corn hole, fire pit. The yard was fabulous for frisbee and our disc golfers, plenty of life jackets for the kayaks and lots of sizes as well floatees for our mixed age group….and the screened porch was a pure delight Morning, noon, and night! Our time was much too short!

This was truly a gorgeous and well appointed home. The owners are generous (like offering beach towels, stocking paper towels, trash bags etc) The house has everything you need AND want to have a relaxing vacation. The kitchen was well stocked with enough pots/plates/cups/platters etc to feed a crew of 9. The craftsmanship of the house was stunning. The secret castle bedroom was an endless source of amusement for the kids. Communication with the owners was super easy. They know the house well and immediately communicated with us as we needed it. Furniture and beds were comfy!

This amazing property provided the perfect background for a three generation family celebration. The house has multiple areas for gathering with indoor and outdoor dining areas, game room and awesome lakefront activities. This is a special property that has provided us with memories for a lifetime.
