Rustic, quiet location. Enjoyed staying here
Stayed here for 6 days over winter break and it gave us exactly what we were looking for, which was quiet and peaceful. The inside of the house is cute. Small and cabin like feel to it. We didn’t realize there was only one small tv in a bedroom but that’sk ok, we got to have more family time. The outside of the house could use some cleaning up. It didn’t bother us as it was cold and we were not staying out there, however if it was warmer it would have bothered me. Overall it was a great stay and I would stay there again.
Nice place
This property is an honest little cabin across from a scenic lake. It’s not the Plaza and it doesn’t claim to be. It’ clean, functional, comfortable and near national parks and tourist attractions like JimThorpe and Lake Harmony. Our family of six had a great time here. Would return in the future.
A nice place to stay. The only issue was there isn't air-conditioning so don't plan your stay on the hottest week of the year. Otherwise it's a great place in a great location.
The owner was extremely nice and our boys enjoyed walking to the lake across the street. It also had great internet that we were able to use while doing some work. We also saw several deer walking around the property. The property doesn't fit 6 people comfortably though. The pullout trundles were awkward because of the size of the rooms. The pullout couch mattress was stained and we didn't feel comfortable using it. We were only given 1 towel per person with no option to use the washer or dryer. For the time we were there, it was very warm during the day and chilly at night, but there were no blankets; just flat sheets. The check-in time is listed as 3pm on the listing but was changed to 4pm when I got the information from the owner. A few modifications/corrections and this place would be 5 stars.
I have never been so disappointed in a rental, hotel stay or B&B as i was with this. Pictures and description did not reflect the property. Check in was at 4. We got there at 6 and the property manager was there until 9 cleaning. No air conditioning. Dingy, musty smell. Only sheets on the bed with no blankets. Dehumidifiers running. Hot tub was disgusting. i stayed only 1 of the 3 nights and left for the Holiday Inn. Yes, the holiday inn was much, much better. I WANT MY MONEY BACK. AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS.
I enjoyed this house very much. It was nice to get away.
Went there with my family and our dogs. The house was very cute and comfortable. We were a little disappointed by the entrance of the community but the house was and the street it was located on was beautiful. The property manager Juan did an excellent job responding to any issues we had. And was very accommodating. We enjoyed our selves in the hot tub and went kayaking on the lake. We even got to experience fireworks while in the hot tub. ???? Issues with the place.. the bed was too small. Did not feel like a queen size bed at all. And bedding needs to be updated. For a more comfortable sleep. My son who loves animals was so happy. We got to see black bears, and also he got to hand feed deers. So all in all. It was a great trip.
The house was nice, clean and comfy. Our issues were it was chilly at night and there was not one blanket in the place, thankfully we took a couple of our lawn chairs along because the lawn furniture there was so filthy you couldn’t sit on any of it. When you look at the ad for the place it says icemaker all there is is two tiny ice trays in the freezer it says washer and dryer yes there is a brand new washer and dryer in there neither one are hooked up the picture show a beautiful outdoor kitchen when you uncover it it’s so dirty and rusty it’s scary there was four grills there one barely worked The hot tub worked great except the cover assist is broken and the cover is so waterlogged it takes two people to try and uncover or cover it back up. There is Internet but the password is very confusing it’s about 20 digits long there is no TV when you go out the back door there’s a couple of boards covering a hole in the ground. If they were to address and keep after these issues it would be a very nice place to stay and I would recommend it to anybody but at this point I wouldn’t recommend it. Also I feel you should be able to get in there earlier than 4 PM you’re paying for that day yet the day is passed by the time you get in there
