Second time I've stayed here. Close to shops and the beach. Lovely house, very comfortable

Was a beautiful and spacious place in a very quiet area even though it is close to everything i would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful stay. The chook that was in the backyard from next door was a laugh as our dog was scared of it

We were met by Karl at the property , he lives behind it. He was friendly & welcoming & showed us through & had heater going & showed us how things worked. Its a nice set up, walking distance to beach and everything we needed.

House is warm, Beds are comfy, No Wifi or towels which I don't remember seeing at time of booking, all round a nice place to stay

My husband & I stayed with our 2 x little dogs & enjoyed our stay. The house would be perfect for a family in summer! Well equipped & a lot of space. Karl was really lovely & easy to deal with.

Our stay was great. The accommodation was easy. Everything we needed at hand, the house was warm, location great for restaurants, beach, walking tracks. Karl welcomed us and was respectful of our time as he quickly showed us around. Whilst WiFi wasn’t critical to us it was disappointing to learn late in the process that it wasn’t actually available at the property.

Great house but was not aware the owner lives out the back without blinds on the back windows it felt a little un private

We stayed here to be close to the Peninsula Emergency Animal Hospital at Mornington. One of our labs was in for surgery. Are other Lab stayed with us in this very friendly

The owner Karl is such a nice person, very friendly. But unfortunately this house is in need of a deep, professional clean. The house is great value and perfect for a large family, but the romance was definitely taken out of our weekend away due to the lack of cleanliness and the musty smell. First night we slept in the back room and had to move in the middle of the night as the wheels on the bed wouldn't lock and we were sliding around anytime one of us moved. A huge selling point for us was the games room and pool table, but the pool table is made for kids. This was misleading in the description, unfortunately. Great location, walking distance to the beach.

Everything you need for a long or short stay is provided in this spacious house in quiet street. 50m wander to the stunning beach. Easy 5 min walk to Rye where there are supermarkets cafes restaurants. Excellent stay. Will come again

A perfect place for a beach holiday with your dog. House was extremly clean, Host was good. Beach just up the road. Shops not far. I was surprised how quiet it was and how soft the grass was in the back yard. And our pup loved it too!

We had a wonderful long weekend in Tootgarook. Perfect location for the nearby beach and exploring the peninsula. Karl was a great host and so helpful and easy to contact.

We had a very comfortable stay with our family. Ken was very welcoming, helpful and available if we needed anything. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our beach holiday. The addition of the pool/games table was a winner with our son. Very quiet and calm area both day and night. The fig trees and vegetable gardens made it feel like home.

Karl was a perfect host. The house is well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. We had a lovely stay, it's a great location and the local beach is beautiful.

The property is clean, lots of beds and a lovely spacious lounge room. Lovely safe yard for the dog. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly Recommend recommend.

A wonderful short term break away.

Plus - Host Karl was nice and the location of the property has great access to everything plus dog friendly. Negatives- However the images of the property on Stayz website do not represent the state & condition of the property. Cleaness could be a lot better. The bedrooms were cluttered with furniture &bedding. The bedroom with bunks were more like a storage room More detail needs to be paid to cleaness presentation including cleaning doors, walls, skirting boards,repairs extra if the property is to be a rental vacation home.the

Karl was helpful and kind. There is a huge enclosed yard for our furbaby and it was great. The property is very spacious. Our stay was comfortable and we will come back for sure.

We only stayed 2 nights but really enjoyed the house. Lots of space, plenty of sleeping options and everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Good location in a quiet street, close to the beach and short drive to everything we needed. Only downside was the lack of wifi so we couldn’t use the smart TV for streaming. Otherwise loved it.

A very clean house in a great location. Only meters away from Rye and the beach. Great cafes nearby too. Owner is very nice and helpful.

I wish to thank Karl for being such an accomodating host. Firstly, I drove a long way to get to the destination and Karl gave me the details to book in seamlessly. Secondly, I arrived with the house beautifully warm, clean and everything available for my stay, including bowls for my dog to use. Karl kindly extended my stay for 2.5 hours, as I needed to pick my son up later than expected. I highly recommend the home as a relaxing place to stay and a lovely place for a beloved pet.

Karl was an excellent host. The property was immaculately maintained. Backyard was also spacious, well maintained and secured - perfect for my dog. Walking distance to the beach. It was the perfect place for my short holiday where I just had to pack my bags and go with no fuss. I would go back again.
