Enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable master bed, the kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. Host was happy to help when we needed it. Would definitely stay here again!

Fully appointed, beautiful and relaxing home. The chefs kitchen was the best! Great communication from the hosts. Langley is a super cute town close by with lots of dining and fun boutiques. My daughters are each at WWU in Bellingham and UW in Seattle this was the perfect halfway point for us all to meet up for a relaxing girls weekend.

The house was in pristine condition, beds were really comfortable. The heater options around the house were great. Each room has its own control. Kitchen has all the spices needed for cooking. Theres games, puzzles as well as an stocked laundry room with everything you need for laundry. Having a garage was a plus to get in and out . Loved the no shoes policy to keep the place clean! Really felt like home, Thanks 😊

Could use sharper knives, but truly has everything you need. Best stocked VRBO I have ever stayed. Great communication with the hosts. We were blessed with beautiful weather as well. Enjoyed the wildlife.

Great place to stay, very comfortable!

The Whidbey House is probably the best equipped rental I've stayed in. It was like being at home, where anything we needed was available, especially in the kitchen (although the knives could use a little sharpening). The home was immaculate, directions were clear, and communication with the owners was great. Temperatures were below 40 degrees during our visit, but the house had heating controls in every room, so it was never an issue to keep warm. They also let us park in the garage, so we didn't have to worry about scraping ice off the windshield. Great having a washer and dryer available, although we didn't need to use it. There were just two of us, but this house can easily accommodate more guests. It's tastefully decorated and I'd highly recommend this property!

The Whidbey House was perfect! Beautiful home, comfortable and in a very quiet neighborhood! The hosts were great to deal with! We will definitely come back next time we plan a weekend on Whidbey Island.

I have had many pleasant experiences with VRBO but the experience at Whidbey House was just about perfect. The hosts were helpful and responsive, the property is beautiful and we had everything we needed and much more. The kitchen is well stocked and easy to use and the water was always hot! As a bonus, we were visited daily by a family of deer. I cannot think of any element that is missing from this lively Whidbey Island vacation spot.

We had another great stay at the Whidbey House!!! So comfortable and this is a great location in Freeland. We will definitely be returning.

The Whidbey House was amazing! Anne and Rick made our stay so easy. The house was very clean and spacious. There was everything you could possibly need at the house too. Just add family and food and you’ll never want to leave! The little Target shopping cart was an instant hit with our 2.5 year old and will definitely be added to the Christmas list this year! Thank you for the idea! Overall, great stay in a great house! We just wish we could’ve stayed longer!

The home was beautiful and comfortable. Everything we needed was in the kitchen and bathrooms. The beds were very comfortable as was the furniture in all rooms. I felt safe traveling with my grandchildren!!

Home is exactly as presented in photos. Kitchen has everything you could possibly need for any cooking desire. Comfy beds, very clean with quality furnishings and many extras. Owners were accommodating and accessible. Great starting point for enjoying this beautiful island!

Whidbey House was a lovely property. A real home from home. We really enjoyed our stay, especially the visits from the deer and rabbits. Rick was very responsive with a couple of queries that we had. Freeland was a great base for exploring Whidbey Island, explore off the beaten track a little and you will find some real gems, we can recommend Island Art Glass, for some beautiful glass work. If we were staying in the area again, we would love to return to Whidbey House.

The house was wonderful. Everything exceeded our expectations.

The house was on a quiet street within easy access of local beaches and towns. The kitchen was fully stocked as promise, the rooms well laid out, and the check-in smooth. More importantly, the owner was very gracious when he realized, and gently let me know that I had only reserved one night when I thought that I had reserved two nights. We scrambled back to the house and were very relieved to see that the owner and the cleaning staff had things well under control and couldn’t have been more considerate and concerned for our predicament.

We had a wonderful stay at the property. House was very clean and immediately felt like home. The location was beautiful and quiet. My two year old loved seeing the deer and rabbits that cruised by as well. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for a home away from home.

This is a beautiful clean home. The backyard is peaceful and has lots of seating. The kitchen has all you would need to cook your own meals. Comfortable furniture in all rooms. Hosts are friendly and would definitely stay here again.

My sisters and I were on the island for our cousins 80th birthday. Your home was beautiful and perfect for us. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. When we come to visit again we will definitely be in touch. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful home.

Spacious and well stocked accommodation. Comfortable beds, ample towels, and best of all, I did not detect any fragrance from cleaners or laundry products!

This is a beautiful and clean property. There were detailed instructions which we appreciated. This is a first rate property. It is by the golf course but the property is surrounded by trees so we didn’t see the course from the house. There are hiking trails close by as is the water but you do have a short drive to get to those activities. All in all a beautiful stay.

We had an amazing stay. The house was beautiful and so clean! Check in was very smooth and easy. We loved the outdoor area and the firepit. We also loved the toys and things that our 2 year old enjoyed playing with. We only stayed 1 night and I wish it had been longer. The next trip we take to Whidbey, I am going to check this listing first. I highly recommend.

This was our second stay at the Whidbey House. This is a great property. It is well equipped with everything you would need and is very comfortable. Will definitely be staying at this property again. The host communication is excellent.

The property was clean and well stocked. Bed was very comfortable. Could use a grab bar coming out of shower in primary bedroom. Suggest coming in daylight as hard to see some road signs in the dark.The responsibility for taking trashcans out/in should be by cleaning people, not guests. Especially older adults.

This is one of the best properties we have ever stayed at with VRBO. The home was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The layout of the home was very comfortable, and we felt right at home. Great instructions and awesome communication with the host. We needed to extend our stay one day and Richard and Anne were so accommodating. Will definitely stay again and would recommend 100%.

We only stayed one night, but everything was very clean, comfortable and well thought-out. We are considering a return stay in the summer months when we could stay longer and enjoy what the area has to offer.

Our group of friends came over from Seattle to shop and meet up with a friend who lives on the island. The house was great; all the beds are comfortable, the house is immaculate, easy/ample parking, and the neighborhood is quiet and nice. We loved the little extras like extra blankets & towels, a fully stocked spice collection, and all the canoeing & kayaking decorations. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the instructions to take out the trash. The first welcome email included instructions to bring the trash to the curb upon checking in, which was off-putting since it was someone else's trash and who wants to take out the trash on your vacation? There were so many messages about taking the can to the curb and returning it. I get it but what would happen if we weren't there? Maybe just pay someone $30 to do this for you so you don't have to ask guests. Other than that, the house is perfect and it was a really nice stay.
